2024 Fantasy Outlook
After a dynamic rookie season as a return man, teams avoided kicking the ball to Turpin last year, and his yardage dropped from 811 in 2022 to 371. He saw more work on offense, though, and Turpin scored his first career NFL touchdowns last season - three on the ground, one through the air - despite getting only 23 total touches. With RB Tony Pollard and WR Michael Gallup both gone, the Cowboys are relying on internal options to step up, and Turpin's usage as a gadget player could increase again. The 27-year-old isn't likely to become a full-time offensive player, however. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Three grabs in Atlanta
Turpin caught three of four targets for 36 yards in Sunday's loss to the Falcons. He also added 65 return yards on three punts and one kickoff.
ANALYSIS
The third-year wideout had a chance to take a punt to the house in the fourth quarter, but he couldn't stay in bounds as he raced down the sideline. Turpin has seen at least four targets in four straight games as his role in the offense grows, posting a 12-126-0 line on 20 targets over that stretch while adding 11 yards on three carries, and he could see even more volume Week 10 against the Eagles if CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) isn't able to suit up.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
The 26-year-old parlayed an MVP season in the USFL into a contract with the Cowboys last summer, and Turpin solved the team's kick-return woes in his first NFL campaign. The TCU product didn't see much action on offense, however, catching just one pass and taking a few carries on jet sweeps. While there could be some depth snaps at wide receiver available following the departure of Noah Brown, Dallas did trade for Brandin Cooks this offseason and still has CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup at the top of the depth chart. It's hard to see Turpin making much of an impact outside of his return duties in 2023.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could get expanded role on offense
Turpin could see a larger role in Dallas' offense against the Steelers in Week 5, as Jon Machota of The Athletic reports that Brandin Cooks will miss the game due to a knee injury.
ANALYSIS
Turpin ranks fourth among Cowboys wide receivers with eight targets and 55 receiving yards, trailing CeeDee Lamb, Jalen Tolbert and Cooks. With Cooks out of the picture against Pittsburgh, Turpin is likely to see the field frequently in three-receiver sets alongside Lamb and Tolbert, though Jalen Brooks could also see additional action at wide receiver. Turpin is known primarily for his special teams prowess as a return man, but has four receiving touchdowns since the start of last season, including a 16-yard touchdown catch in Week 3 against the Ravens.
