2024 Fantasy Outlook
After being selected in the sixth round of the 2024 draft by the Eagles, Wilson may have a difficult time earning a significant role in the offense. Both A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith are full-time superstar players, so competing for an outside role isn't an option. With Wilson being 6-foot-6, 231 pounds, the slot doesn't appear to be a realistic option. In terms of skills, the rookie tested extremely well in speed (for his size), agility and explosiveness. However, the main issues with his college game were drops (15), inconsistent route running and getting quickly to top speed. In addition, the Eagles have Jahan Dotson and Parris Campbell on the roster. As a result, it also will be difficult for Wilson to move into the top-four on the receiver depth chart. May have head injury
Wilson is being evaluated for a concussion Sunday against the Buccaneers.
ANALYSIS
Wilson had seen two targets today with no catches before suffering the injury. With little time left in the game, it's possible the rookie receiver may remain on the sidelines regardless, but if he did suffer a concussion, he'll enter the league's five-step protocols before he'll be cleared to return to action.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Candidate for WR3 role
Wilson, who the Eagles selected out of Florida State in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, is among the players in line to compete for the team's No. 3 wide receiver role, Tim McManus of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
McManus notes that the 6-foot-6, 235 pound Wilson impressed throughout the pre-draft process with balance and body control rare for a player of his size. With a similarly big-bodied wideout in DeVante Parker now off the roster after his Monday retirement, the FSU product could have a clearer path to a roster spot behind top wideouts A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.
