Cooper (shoulder) returned during the second quarter of Monday's game against the Packers, Olivia Reiner of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
ANALYSIS
Cooper briefly left Monday's game after sustaining a shoulder injury in the first quarter, but he was back on the field in the second frame for the Eagles' third offensive possession of the contest. Inside track to make 53-man roster?
WRPhiladelphia Eagles
August 23, 2025
Brooks Kubena and Zach Berman of The Athletic both project that Cooper will make the Eagles' 53-man roster ahead of the likes of Ainias Smith and Terrace Marshall.
ANALYSIS
Cooper joined the Eagles in early May after going undrafted. He's taken advantage of his opportunity and has been one of the Eagles' standout players during training camp, highlighted by his performance in Philadelphia's preseason opener against Cincinnati, when he caught six passes on seven targets for 82 yards and a touchdown. With Johnny Wilson out for the entire 2025 season due to a knee injury, Kubena and Berman believe that Cooper should slot in as the fifth wideout on the 53-man roster behind A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Jahan Dotson and the recently acquired John Metchie.
