Each week of the season I will look at matchups, usage, pace of play and the injury report to highlight my favorite "higher", and sometimes "lower" picks, on Chalkboard.

Higher
QB Tanner McKee
vs. WAS - higher on pass yards
WR Jahan Dotson
vs. WAS - higher on rec yards and receptions
RB Tank Bigsby
vs. WAS - higher on rush yards; 0.5 TDs
With little to play for, Philadelphia will be resting Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts, among other starters. They're still four-point favorites at home against a Washington defense that's allowed 200+ rushing yards in back-to-back games. Bigbsy has looked good in a limited role since being traded from Jacksonville, and he's expected to serve as the starter in place of Barkley. Tanner McKee will start at QB, just as he did in Week 18 last season when he threw for 269 yards and two touchdowns. He's received high praise from HC Nick Sirianni and I wouldn't be surprised if he carves up a below average Commanders defense.
With the Eagles resting top wideouts A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, Dotson will serve as the de facto No. 1 WR for McKee. It's the same role he played in Week 18 last season when he caught seven of 11 targets for 94 yards in a game that also featured McKee at QB. This one happens to be against the team who drafted and traded him away, so there's already plenty of motivation.
TE Juwan Johnson
at ATL - higher than 60.5 receiving yards; 4.5 receptions
With Chris Olave ruled out, Johnson will likely be the favorite target of Tyler Shough for what looks like a favorable matchup inside the dome in Atlanta. Johnson has 95 and 89 receiving yards in his last two games and he's caught at least four passes in seven straight. The absence of target-monster Olave puts Johnson in play to draw 10 targets.
RB Derrick Henry
at PIT - higher than 88.5 rush yards; 0.5 TDs
RB Kenneth Gainwell
vs. BAL - higher than 27.5 receiving yards; 4.5 receptions
I expect the RBs to be heavily involved in Sunday night's Ravens-Steelers showdown in Pittsburgh, where the division title is on the line. Henry is coming off three consecutive 100-yard games as Lamar Jackson has been banged up. It's a clear that a high dose of Henry gives Baltimore its best shot and we just saw James Cook run wild on this Steelers defensive front a few weeks. Henry had 94 yards on 25 attempts when the teams met in Week 14. As for Gainwell, he's had at least five catches in five of the last seven games and should remain a favorite target of Aaron Rodgers with DK Metcalf suspended.
WR Wan'Dale Robinson
vs. DAL - higher on yards and receptions
Robinson is coming off a season-high 11 catches against the Raiders last week, the sixth time he's drawn double-digit targets in the last 10 games. He has another favorable spot Sunday as New York's matchup against Dallas has a 49.5-point total and the Cowboys secondary is in transition after losing Trevon Diggs.
WR Jerry Jeudy
at CIN - higher on yards and receptions
Assuming Harold Fannin and David Njoku are out, a matchup in Cincinnati could be the spot for Jeudy to break out. The Browns will be playing catchup and without his favorite target Fannin, Shedeur Sanders will almost certainly look to Jeudy, who had five catches on seven targets for 54 yards last week, as his main man.
QB Cam Ward
at JAX - higher than 0.5 pass TDs; 194.5 pass yards
Ward continues to improve and now has thrown two touchdown passes in four consecutive games after throwing for 251 yards against the Saints last week. It came after an impressive 228-yard performance in a win over the Colts. No team has faced a higher opponent passing rate than Jacksonville and Ward will likely have garbage time on his side considering the Titans are double-digit underdogs.
