Since then, Dallas has moved to a consensus 1.5-point favorite, powered by 67 percent of the money coming in on Dallas despite garnering only 37 percent of the bets. That tells me the public is on the Bears, but the more powerful sharps and their high-dollar tickets are on the Cowboys. In a bit of a shock, 85 percent of bets and 81 percent of the money is on the Under despite both teams showing very little defensive resistance this year.
However, a deeper look shows that might be buyback after bettors hammered the Over, moving it from the opening number of 46.5 all the way to where it is presently. The incredibly mild weather in Chicago may have some influence in the rise in total as well. Despite those bet and money percentages, the books have held firm around 50.5 for two days, which signals they are content taking all that Under money.

Seriously, where do we start here? Last week, these teams were involved in games that combined for 150 points. That's not rounding, that's not an exaggeration, that's the actual number. Now, Dallas was at home and the Bears were in Detroit, so the venue shift is drastic to the slowest surface in the NFL.
However, Chicago has been a slight Over team at home the last three years which speaks volumes for just how bad their defense has been. Remarkably, the Cowboys' defense might be even worse.
