THE SLATE
AX Armani Exchange Milan at Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade
Status Check: Malcolm Delaney (MIL), Jeremy Evans (MIL), Quino Colom (RED), Branko Lazic (RED), Duop Reath (RED)
Best Bets for Success: Tuesday's slate will start with clash between Milan, still fighting for quarter final spot, and Red Star, who is already eliminated from playoff chase. Sergio Rodriguez started for Italian champions last week, for a first time this year. In absence of Delaney and with Michael Roll not able impress in starting role, El Chacho will probably continue as first choice point guard. He produced over 18 DFS points in six out of his last eight outings and DraftKings priced him up at $7,200. Shavon Shields has scored in double digits in last nine appearances and averages 22.8 DFS points in last five. Red Star allowed their opponents to convert 48.9% of shots from field this season, third highest in EuroLeague, while Shields averages 11.6 FGA in last five games, so he will face rather favorable matchup. ABA League champions will again rely on Jordan Loyd, who averages 18.8 points in last five outings and scored in double figures in seven out of last eight. Loyd was Red Star's best player in reverse matchup with 28.3 DFS points.
DFS Darlings: Jeff Brooks played his best EuroLeague game this season in last week's defeat to Baskonia. He scored 10 points and grabbed 7 rebounds, both his season highest, and is a viable option at just $4,700. Landry Nnoko has recorded double-double in last outing and now averages 16.3 DFS points over last four games. Nnoko will probably be preferred to Ognjen Kuzmic and is available at $6,200 at DraftKings slate.
Anadolu Efes Istanbul at Real Madrid
Status Check: Sergio Llull (MAD), Rudy Fernandez (MAD), Anthony Randolph (MAD)
Best Bets for Success: Vasilije Micic is the most expensive guard on Tuesday's slate and seems to be a must have option at the moment. Serbian playmaker was chosen Round 31 MVP after his performance against Valencia Basket. Micic scored at least 24 fantasy points in seven consecutive games now and averages 33.7 DFS points in last five. He was rested in domestic game on Saturday in order to be ready for two EuroLeague Rounds this week. Rodrigue Beaubois has started nine of last 10 Efes games and scored in double digits seven times since start of February. In last three games he converted 69.2% of three points shots, best in the league. Walter Tavares, most expensive player on the slate at $11,900, will lead Real's frontcourt again. With three double-doubles and DFS average of 34.0 in last five games he will be a key factor in his team pursuit for playoff spot.
DFS Darlings: Usman Garuba has just missed his first double-double in the last Round, scoring nine points and grabbing eight rebounds. He recorded two other season highs in the outing against ASVEL: 23.5 DFS points and 33 minutes spent on the court. Carlos Alocen, after featuring for only three minutes last week due to ankle injury, should be fully fit for Round 32. After very good domestic game on Saturday, Alocen looks like a bargain at just $5,400 on DraftKings.
ALBA Berlin at Zalgiris Kaunas
Status Check: Maodo Lo (BER), Augustine Rubit (ZAL), Arturas Milaknis (ZAL)
Best Bets for Success: Joffrey Lauvergne seems to fully recover from pelvis injury that slowed him down in two of March outings. In Round 31 Frenchman was again close to record a double-double with eight points and nine rebounds against Maccabi Tel Aviv and is on course to pick up his form from first weeks of 2021. Nigel Hayes has scored his season best 37.8 DFS points in last game and his playing time will likely increase with Rubit unavailable. It's also worth to notice that ALBA's defense against frontcourt positions is worst in the league with an average of 52.4 points allowed per game. Simone Fontecchio was his team's top scorer with 14 points when these teams met in reverse fixture. Italian forward averages 26.5 DFS points since start of February and was rather lightly worked in domestic game on Sunday with 18 minutes on the court. Luke Sikma's DFS points production was reduced in last Round's game against Barcelona but that applies to whole German team. After just 16.5 DFS points in his account, lowest in last nine outings, Sikma will be keen to improve in the matchup against Zalgiris.
DFS Darlings: Paulius Jankunas will also benefit from Rubit's absence. Veteran forward averages 14.9 DFS points in last three outings, contributing heavily to Zalgiris' rebounds stat with 7.5 per game over last six. He is available on DraftKings slate at $6,200. Christ Koumadje debuted in EuroLeague in last Round's game against Barcelona with six points, two rebounds, a block and two turnovers and will most likely see more action this week. Giant center is priced at $6,800 and is expected to contribute heavily in rebounds department.
CSKA Moscow at Zenit Saint Petersburg
Status Check: Mike James (CSK), Joel Bolomboy (CSK), Nikola Milutinov (CSK)
Best Bets for Success: With James suspended, Daniel Hackett seems to be clear favorite for taking point guard spot in CSKA lineup. In the last Round, Hackett recorded his best game this year with 30.0 DFS points over 28 minutes on the court in his account. His DFS points average in last five outings is not great – just 16.2, but he will definitely get more opportunities to impress this week. Tornike Shengelia has scored at least 14 points in each of last four games, including double-double against Milan. He averages 32.2 DFS points in last four and is stand out CSKA player this season, regardless of James' presence on the court. Hosts will have clean bill of health for matchup against powerhouse form Moscow. Kevin Pangos continues to lead the team from backcourt with over 20 DFS points and at least six rebounds in each of last five outings. CSKA allows opposition guards more than other teams – third worst in allowed points and fifth worst in assists, so Pangos will face favorable matchup here. Canadian guard was Zenit's top scorer in reverse matchup with 14 points.
DFS Darlings: With CSKA missing their top guard, Iffe Lundberg and Janis Strelnieks will see more action on the court. Both are available at under $6,000 on DraftKings slate. Lundberg didn't impress in last three games, but he played rather marginal role lately with 11 minutes as his longest outing. Danish guard averaged 20.8 DFS points in his first three EuroLeague appearances for CSKA and will have a good opportunity to get there Tuesday. Darrun Hilliard will be available again after recovering from illness. He is priced up at season lowest $5,600 but his playing time will possibly be limited.
TD Systems Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz at Panathinaikos OPAP Athens
Status Check: Tonye Jekiri (BAS), Nemanja Nedovic (PAN), Georgios Kalaitzakis (PAN)
Best Bets for Success: Baskonia's guards, Pierria Henry and Luca Vildoza, will both have a very favorable matchup Tuesday night, as Panathinaikos concedes most points against backcourt positions in the league. Henry is coming off one of his best performances in weeks. In last Round he produced 33.8 DFS points, which increased his average over last five outings to 25.3. At his current price, he's also returning the most average value on the slate. Vildoza averaged a less-impressive 18.9 DFS points in last three but a matchup against a Panathinaikos team that has been eliminated from playoff contention will give him the perfect opportunity to bounce back. Howard Sant-Roos will continue to fill in for Nedovic, and Panathinaikos' first choice guard at the moment averages 31.9 DFS points in last three outings and contributes in all areas of the game. Sant-Roos spent over 30 minutes on the court in each of last three games. Mario Hezonja's streak of scoring in double figures extended to five games now and it's fair to expect him to continue. With DFS points average of 25.6 he is one of most consistent players on the slate.
DFS Darlings: Tadas Sedekerskis played his best game this season in Round 31 clash with Milan, producing 25.8 DFS points in 28 minutes on the court. Sedekerskis will likely see another extended outings this week with two EuroLeague Rounds scheduled and is valued by DraftKings at $5,500. Georgios Papagiannis averages 20.9 DFS points in last three and is available at $7,600. He should continue to start for Panathinaikos, as he did in last two games.
FC Barcelona at Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv
Status Check: Pau Gasol (BAR), Othello Hunter (TEL), Yovel Zoosman (TEL)
Best Bets for Success: Nick Calathes dished out 11 assists in two consecutive games and is second in EuroLeague in that category this season. Barcelona's guard averages 21.6 DFS points in last five outings and started every single game this year. Nikola Mirotic has scored his season high 26 points in last week's game against ALBA Berlin. His DFS points average jumped up to impressive 34.7 in last five, so his price tag of $11,000 on DraftKings is fully justified. Mirotic was also rested in Barca's last domestic game on Sunday. Pierre Oriola continues to produce for fantasy players. In last three games he averages 22.8 DFS points and will likely start again in Tuesday's matchup. Ante Zizic will again begin the game in center slot of Maccabi's lineup. He averages 24.8 DFS points, including 7.4 rebounds, in last five starts. Scottie Wilbekin has recently shown glimpses of last year's form with 23.0 DFS points over last three games, and double figures in scoring column in each.
DFS Darlings: With Cory Higgins likely to play limited minutes, Kyle Kuric could again play an expanded for Barcelona. In the last Round, Kuric hit three times from downtown and produced 18.3 DFS points. He is available on DraftKings slate at just $5,000. Dragan Bender scored a season-best 16 points in last outing against Zalgiris. Croatian forward averages 14.9 DFS points in last four games and may be worth a gamble at just $5,200.
Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul at FC Bayern Munich
Status Check: Edgaras Ulanovas (ULK), Nihad Dedovic (MUN), James Gist (MUN)
Best Bets for Success: Jan Vesely continues his excellent scoring run. He was again very productive in last round's win over Olympiacos with 18 points and scored in double digits in all but one game this year. In last five showings Fenerbahce's center averages 32.2 DFS points, including two double-doubles and keep in mind that Bayern in third worst in EuroLeague in stopping opposition big men. Vesely, alongside Nando de Colo and Marko Guduric, was given a day off last Sunday and didn't take a part of domestic league game. Dyshawn Pierre will be expected to start again in absence of Ulanovas. Pierre made only three starts since calendar flipped to 2021, but scored at least 12 points on each occasion and averaged 26.2 DFS points. Bayern will rely on Wade Baldwin and Vladimir Lucic to help their team secure quarter final spot. Baldwin started every single game for German team this season and averages 28.9 DFS points in last five outings with and scored double figures in ten games in a row now. Lucic was Bayern's top scorer in reverse matchup with 18 points and five rebounds. He is fourth in the league in terms of minutes spend on the court this season with 30.5 minutes average and 32.5 in last eight outings.
DFS Darlings: Danilo Barthel has produced over 12 DFS points in four out of five last outings, with this year's high 21.0 in last round. He is likely worth a shot at just $5,400 on DraftKings slate and will possibly again see more minutes on the court with Ulanovas out. Bayern's Zan Sisko improves from game to game with 15.5 DFS points scored last time out. He provides valuable backup for Baldwin and is on course to reach level of performances from last year when he was quite regularly scoring over 15 DFS points per game.
