Jazz Rally For Road Win
The Utah Jazz defeated the host Minnesota Timberwolves, 126-125, at Target Center on Monday.

The game got out to a competitive start and was tied at 27, after one quarter. The hosts picked up the pace in the second and rallied to a six-point lead by halftime. Both sides brought the intensity in the third, but the Timberwolves managed to push it to an eight-point game heading into the final quarter. The visitors turned the tables in the fourth and rallied to tie the game at 116, with just under four minutes left. Timberwolves held strong and reclaimed a two-point lead with just 13 seconds to go, but Jordan Clarkson managed to draw a foul and sink the game-winning free throw with four seconds on the clock. The hosts were not able to hit the buzzer-beater and saw their two-game win streak come to an end.

Clarkson led the Jazz with 21 points on 6-of-16 shooting, in 33 minutes of action. Walker Kessler followed up with 20 points, 21 rebounds, four assists, and two blocks, while Collin Sexton chipped in 19 points, four rebounds and four assists. The Jazz shot 53.6 percent from the field, including 13-of-34 from long range.

Meanwhile, Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 29 points, four assists, five rebounds and three steals, in 36 minutes. D'Angelo Russell followed up with 21 points, seven assists and a block, while Kyle Anderson totaled 13 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, a steal and a block. The Timberwolves shot 45.5 percent from the field, including 18-of-41 from deep.

The Timberwolves (22-23) will look to bounce back as they take on the Nuggets in Denver on Wednesday. The Jazz (23-24) play host to the Clippers on Wednesday.
