Hawks Close Out Third Straight Win
The Atlanta Hawks defeated the visiting Miami Heat, 121-113, at State Farm Arena on Monday.

The hosts got out to a strong start and led, 38-26, after one quarter. The Heat did not have an answer in the second, as the Hawks pushed ahead to a 20-point lead heading into the break. The visitors came out better in the third quarter and trimmed it back to an 11-point game heading into the final quarter. The Heat kept pressing in the fourth, but the Hawks stood strong down the stretch to secure their third straight win.

Dejounte Murray led the Hawks with 28 points, four rebounds, seven assists, two steals and a block, in 35 minutes. Trae Young followed up with 24 points, three rebounds, eight assists and four steals, while De'Andre Hunter added 15 points, four rebounds and four assists. The Hawks shot 59.2 percent from the field, including 13-of-27 from deep.

Meanwhile, Jimmy Butler led the Heat with 34 points, three rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block, in 34 minutes. Bam Adebayo followed up with 20 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, three steals and three blocks, while Victor Oladipo totaled seven points, six rebounds, 10 assists and a steal. The Heat shot 48.3 percent from the field, including 8-of-31 from long range.

The Heat (24-21) will look to bounce back as they face the Pelicans in New Orleans on Wednesday. The Hawks (22-22) take on the Mavericks in Dallas on Wednesday.
