Raptors Defeat Knicks in OT, 123-121
The Toronto Raptors defeated the host New York Knicks in OT, 123-121, at Madison Square Garden on Monday.

While there were only 10 ties and five lead changes in this game, neither team led by more than 10 points. RJ Barrett actually hit a game-tying dunk just before the buzzer in regulation to get the game into overtime. With that said, Toronto started the extra frame on an 11-5 run, which was too much for NY to overcome. The Raptors shot 13-of-44 from three-point range and 34-of-41 from the free-throw line, while the Knicks shot 9-of-31 from long range and 28-of-35 from the charity stripe. Toronto also recorded 27 assists to six turnovers, while NY had 17 assists to 11 turnovers. They also outscored the Knicks in fastbreak points, 14-4.

The Raptors (20-24) were led by Fred VanVleet, collecting 33 points, five rebounds, eight assists, two steals and two blocks. Scottie Barnes amassed 26 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two blocks. Pascal Siakam provided 20 points, eight rebounds, nine assists and three blocks, while Gary Trent tallied 18 points, five rebounds and two assists.

The Knicks (25-20) were led by Barrett, finishing with 32 points, seven rebounds and two assists. Julius Randle amassed 21 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists. Jalen Brunson generated 26 points, seven rebounds and two assists, while Mitchell Robinson had 11 points, eight rebounds and two assists. Immanuel Quickley led the bench with 14 points.

On deck for New York is a home game against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday. As for Toronto, they stay on the road to play the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday.
