SP - Tim Lincecum $6,000 - The Freak has found his groove in 2015, looking like he is in vintage form that reminds us when he was so dominant earlier in his career. He is sporting a 2.08 ERA over his eight starts in 2015. His K and BB rate are down a bit, but he has only allowed one homer in 47.2 IP. He's back in control of his arsenal.
SP - Jake Odorizzi $6,750 - Odorizzi is yet another example of the pitcher development factory in Tampa. Only once in nine starts this season has he allowed over three runs in a start. His K/BB rate is an impressive 4.6 this far too. He could sue the Rays offense for lack of support, explaining why his w/l record is only 3-for-4 in this span of games.
C- Yadier Molina $4,650 - Molina continues to look like the model of consistency at the backstop position, with a fine start to this campaign. He is 7/22 in the past week, which is right in line with his year to date offensive pace. A nice safe and more consistent batter at catcher is hard to find.
2B/SS - Brian Dozier $4,950 - Dozier may not hit for average like some other middle infield options, but he has enjoyed a power surge that has seen him slug four homers in the past week. He is coming off a two-HR game and has nine round trippers so far this season - a career best start in that category. Ride this power surge.
2B/SS - Ian Desmond $4,600 - After a sluggish start, it looks like Desmond has found his hitting stride recently. With a 9 for 27 week, he is on a season0high nine game hitting streak and a key part of one of the most potent offenses in all of baseball.
1B/3B - Prince Fielder $5,500 - Fielder is coming off a 13-for-29 week, his best since joining the Rangers last year. Included in this tear were five multi-hit games. When a power hitter of his magnitude is raking like that, it qualifies as a no-brainer in my daily lineup.
1B/3B - Ryan Howard $4,650 - Here's another power hitter who is coming off a 10-for-26 week, which included three homers and five RBI. He's been more of a streaky hitter, though the Phils have to be most pleased that he has rediscovered his power stroke in the past year and a half.
OF - Ryan Braun $5,500 - The key to the Brewers offense had not hit consistently this season until last week, where he compiled eight hits in 21 AB. Another positive sign is the three homers that he counted to bring his season total to 11. He looks like the elite version of his former self once again.
OF - Bryce Harper $6,000 - Harper is yet another power hitter, who is also hitting for nice BA, OBP and OPS this season. His numbers across the board, project an MVP caliber campaign. He is coming off a 9-for-21 week, which also included three homers and eight RBI.
OF - Mookie Betts $4,850 - This highly regarded prospect in the Red Sox organization, looks like he is starting to find his way in a potent Red Sox offense. He has produced eight hits in 27 AB. There's just something about the Red Sox and a Holiday Monday that makes me want to put him in my lineup today, next to the big boppers already noted above.
Util - Ben Revere $4,750 - One of the speediest base runners in all of baseball gets a favorable matchup on Monday. He is seven for 18 against Bartolo Colon. More importantly, he is 10 for 28 with 3 SB in his last eight starts.
