Pitcher
Gerrit Cole, PIT vs. SEA ($8,500): The fantasy point totals have been inconsistent, but the overall quality of Cole's pitching has been pretty good. Injuries and other factors have lead to early departures in a few starts of late but each of Cole's last six starts have all come in with an xFIP below 4.00 (as have 11 of his 14 starts on the season). It's also encouraging to see that Cole's K-rate in July climbed up to 26.1 percent after a first half of the season with just a 19 percent K-rate. The Mariners lineup packs a lot of power, but they do strike out a fair bit. Vegas has Cole and the Pirates as clear favorites with the over/under at just 7.5.
Catcher
Willson Contreras, CHC vs. CHW ($3,100): Anthony Ranaudo has only seen 3.2 innings in the majors this year but they were bad innings, as he allowed seven earned runs and currently holds a 17.18 ERA. Now, after 78.2 innings at Triple-A, he returns to the White Sox. He held down a 3.20 ERA at Charlotte but a low K-rate of 16.9 percent and a 1.37 HR/9 may point towards him still not being a MLB-quality pitcher. Contreras has raked at home so far in his short career with a 172 wRC+ in Wrigley.
First Base
Anthony Rizzo, CHC vs. CHW ($5,100): With a 171 wRC+ against righties on the season, Rizzo comes against Ranaudo in a prime matchup. The current over/under in Chicago is 9.0 with the Cubs sitting as -220 favorites, which translates into a lot of projected runs scored.
Second Base
Jurickson Profar, TEX vs. OAK ($2,300): Potentially batting second in a high over/under game, it's hard to overlook Profar at this price. Without a spot in the top part of the order however, he carries less value.
Third Base
Adrian Beltre, TEX vs. OAK ($3,500): Southpaw Sean Manaea has struggled to get righties out this season with a 4.52 xFIP, while Beltre counters with a home wRC+ against lefties of 159.
Shortstop
Aledmys Diaz, STL at NYM ($2,700): Logan Verrett has been poor this season, allowing a 4.92 xFIP mostly out of the bullpen. Starting hasn't led to more positive results and he's displayed an inability to pitch effectively to righties, allowing a 5.57 xFIP to them. Diaz also has been better against righties, recording a 145 wRC+ against them this season.
Outfield
Dexter Fowler, CHC vs. CHW ($3,400): Fowler owns a 137 wRC+ against right-handers and a 139 against lefties, so whether it's Ranaudo or someone from the 'pen Fowler will be in a position to succeed. All of his stolen bases this season have come against righties, providing an additional bump while Ranaudo is on the mound.
Stephen Piscotty, STL at NYM ($3,200): Another beneficiary of Verrett's inefficiencies, Piscotty is the best hitter on the Cardinals' roster with Matt Carpenter out and is massively underpriced for being so. In his brief career, Piscotty has a 115 wRC+ against righties (which doesn't match his unreal 175 wRC+ against lefties but is still solid).
Max Kepler, MIN vs. ATL ($3,200): Mike Foltynewicz has allowed a 4.98 xFIP and a crazy 2.52 HR/9 to lefties. Kepler has packed some serious power against righties this season, holding a .295 ISO.
