Following Friday night's marathon, this column has been blown up, and we're in full speculation mode. Rich Hill seems safe to start for the Dodgers, while it's anyone's guess who will be on the bump for the Red Sox. We're operating under the assumption it will be either Drew Pomeranz or Eduardo Rodriguez, both lefties, and also assuming Chris Sale won't start on short rest. The Dodgers have been insanely stubborn with their lefty/righty lineups, so obviously confirm the Red Sox pitching plan and adjust accordingly.
MVP
Justin Turner, LAD ($8,500): Manny Machado figures to be the popular choice, making Turner a nice pivot. He had better splits against lefties, posting a .433 wOBA, 179 wRC+ and .244 ISO, has five hits in the World Series and has hit safely in 10 of the Dodgers' 13 postseason contests.
Mookie Betts, BOS ($9,500): There's not a great reason to differentiate if you're going with a Red Sox as your MVP. Betts posted a team-high .488 wOBA, 212 wRC+ and .368 ISO against lefties during the regular season. He posted double-digit points in the first two games of this series and in six of the team's 12 postseason games.
INFIELD
Steve Pearce, BOS ($5,000): Pearce should be back in the lineup with leftie Rich Hill on the mound, and despite being hitless in his first two starts of the series, he's managed to average 6.3 fantasy points. His price and spot in the top/middle of the order are awfully hard to beat, and his .429 wOBA, 171 wRC+ and .283 ISO don't hurt.
Brian Dozier, LAD ($4,500): Dozier has done next to nothing this postseason and likely is removed from the lineup after a few at bats if the Red Sox go to their bullpen. But if we assume the Dodgers follow their Game 1 and 2 plan against a southpaw starter, Dozier is in line to leadoff and be followed by Turner, Freeze and Machado, meaning he just needs to reach base to have a great shot at scoring. And his price allows for free spending on top Sox bats.
David Freese, LAD ($4,000): He'll be incredibly chalky, but with a lefty on the mound, Freese is in the lineup and offers potential, while giving incredible lineup flexibility thanks to his bottom tier price. And the reason he's in the lineup is the .554 wOBA, 260 wRC+ and .321 ISO he posted against opposite handed arms.
OUTFIELD
J.D. Martinez, BOS ($9,000): The easiest, most obvious strategy for Saturday is to pay up for the Sox top two, and pay down for Dodger righties elsewhere. Pairing Martinez and Betts is going to severely limit your spending elsewhere, but being in a National League park forces many hands by taking another bat out of their normal DH spot. Martinez has had a terrifically productive postseason, and posted a .406 wOBA, 155 wRC+ and .244 ISO during the regular season against lefties.
Chris Taylor LAD ($6,500): It's hard to trust most of the Dodger bats simply because you have to assume they aren't playing nine innings. Taylor has only failed to tally four times in 13 postseason outings, while six times going for more than nine points. That form helps counteract the .327 wOBA Taylor posted against lefties during the regular season.
Jackie Bradley, BOS ($5,000): Why not? Bradley has 10 RBI in the postseason, and while he's unlikely to start Saturday with a lefty on the bump for the Dodgers, Rich Hill hasn't worked into the sixth inning in the postseason. Bradley will get at least two at bats in the latter innings and is in a groove where he can provide ample return on this tag.
