Baseball is back in the Olympics, for the first time since 2008!
Six teams will compete for the gold in a tournament that begins Tuesday night. With players on MLB 40-man rosters ineligible to participate, the tournament will feature quite an unusual mix of players. We'll see stars of foreign leagues competing against MLB journeymen looking to secure one last contract, while a small handful of top prospects face off against the Vice President of Programming for a SoHo winery.
It's a somewhat confusing tournament structure and a rather odd group of players, but Erik Halterman and Sam Pasco are here to help.
Check out the video below for a breakdown of all six teams, as well as the guys' best bets and their picks to take home the gold.
