FORWARDS
Lionel Messi, BAR vs DYK (€32): Messi scored 21.5 fantasy points despite not scoring or assisting in La Liga action over the weekend. He hammered off a whopping 10 shots (five on target) and created four chances along the way. Considering he's scored a goal or an assist in each of his two UCL outings, he's a safe bet to bring home a pile of points through goals, assists, or even just peripheral stats.
Cristiano Ronaldo, JUV at FERE (€28): Ronaldo wasted no time in getting back on track after missing four games due to COVID-19. He bagged a brace in 34 minutes off the bench Sunday, and the Champions League's all-time leading scorer comes with a sky-high ceiling in an attractive matchup against a Ferencvarosi side that shipped seven goals in their first two UCL games.
Antoine Griezmann, BAR vs DYK (€16): Griezmann got off the mark with the equalizer in Saturday's La Liga draw, and that could be the confidence boost needed to get the Frenchman going. His price is reasonable enough to take a shot with since Barcelona are the biggest favorite on the board and he makes for a good kicker to Messi when stacking them up.
MIDFIELDERS
Angel Di Maria, PSG at RBL (€25): Di Maria has yet to impact the score-sheet in his first two UCL games, but he'll see an uptick in set-piece and attacking duties with both Neymar and Kylian Mbappe missing out. He tallied over 20 assists last season, and with that kind of attacking firepower out of the equation, it's just a matter of time before he starts contributing in bulk again.
Hakim Ziyech, CHE vs REN (€23): Ziyech is finding his footing with Chelsea after scoring a goal in two straight and adding an assist Saturday. With Chelsea looking to separate themselves at the top of Group E, Ziyech is well-positioned to continue to contribute in an attractive home matchup versus Rennes.
Lucas Ocampos, SEV vs. FKKR (€19): Ocampos was firing at will in his last UCL outing, shooting five times, sending in three crosses and suffering two fouls in Sevilla's win over Rennes. He turned up with his first assist of the season over the weekend, and he gets another shot at breaking through in a favorable home game against Group E minnows FC Krasnodar.
DEFENDERS
Ben Chilwell, CHE vs. REN (€15): With a lack of true "studs" at the defender position, we should be able to save some here to spend up elsewhere. Chilwell has helped Chelsea see out a clean sheet in three of his last four, and he's not shy about getting forward on the left flank to send in a helping of crosses. In a good matchup at home against Rennes, he offers upside on both ends of the pitch.
Sergi Roberto, BAR vs DYK (€14): Barcelona have the best clean sheet odds on the slate and Roberto offers cheap exposure to their defense. After seeing that he created five chances from his right-back spot over the weekend, it's not unthinkable for him to get involved going forward, too.
Raphael Guerreiro, BVB at CB (€13): Guerreiro is simply too cheap for the upside that he possesses. He's topped eight points in each of his UCL outings, and that's without a goal or an assist. The goals and assists are in his wheelhouse too, and if they come in along with the defensive points he could emerge as the top value play on the slate.
GOALKEEPER
Bono, SEV vs. FKKR (€18): Bono has kept it clean in each of his first two Group E outings, and he has the third-highest clean sheet odds on the slate. At home against an FC Krasnodar side that has struggled to find goals both in UCL and domestic league play, Bono has a legitimate shot at making it three straight shutouts.
