PLAYER RECOMMENDATIONS
GOALKEEPER
Fraser Forster, SOT v. BUR: With the most favorable matchup of any keeper in the Sunday/Monday slate, Forster will also come at the highest price. The Saints last allowed a goal on Sept. 10, having played a total of 540 minutes without conceding a goal. Clean sheets are a crucial statistic as a goalkeeper, which is why Forster is the most prized goalkeeper of the three-game slate. Between Southampton's airtight defense and Burnley's lack of scoring (three goals in five games), Forster appears to be the best, though most expensive, option at goalkeeper. If you're looking for more value, Heurelho Gomes ($4,400) is also an option.
DEFENDER
James Milner, LIV v. MUN: It's been an interesting ride for Milner this season, as he started in central midfield, turned into a stand-in defender, and then ultimately became Liverpool's permanent left-back. He has at least 10 fantasy points on DraftKings in four of his last six starts, while also burying four goals (all penalties). Milner's point total is directly tied

Milner's point total is directly tied to his duty as LFC's in-house penalty taker. He's the most expensive defender by $1,900, but also the defender with the highest ceiling. If spending high on defender's is your prerogative, look no further than the in-form Milner.
Matt Targett, SOT v. BUR: Southampton will be missing both Cedric Soares and Ryan Bertrand for Sunday's match against Burnley. With both of Southampton's starting outside-backs out injured, Targett and Cuco Martina are expected to start. Targett has 17 crosses in his three Premier League appearances this season, which could be his best source of points against a Burnley side that has allowed the third-most crosses (171) coming into the weekend. Both Martina and Targett carry similar upside, but Targett comes as a slightly cheaper option.
Luke Shaw, MUN at LIV: The oft-injured Shaw is healthy enough to play for the first time since Sept. 18. There has never been any doubts about his ability as a player, though many have wondered about his durability. When healthy, Shaw has been a first-choice left-back along with Antonio Valencia. As far as cost goes, Shaw is one of the cheaper starting options that you'll find in this slate. He will have his hands full with a dangerous Liverpool side but should find space to get forward on the counter.
MIDFIELDER
Dusan Tadic, SOT v. BUR: After returning from a two-goal, four-assist haul during two games over the international break, Tadic is prepared to torment the Premier League more so than he has already. Tadic has hit double-digit fantasy points on DraftKings in five out of his past six appearances and could continue that against 14th-place Burnley. He comes as a clear-cut chalk play and is an option if you're a bit more frugal in other positions.
Stewart Downing, MID v. WAT: Crosses, crosses, crosses. Downing has been making a living in the Premier League for the past 15 years because of his ability to get forward and send crosses in. Before this weekend's round of matches, Downing came in with 41 total crosses, good for seventh in the league. 16 of those 41 crosses were accurate, and if the likes of Alvaro Negredo and Cristhian Stuani are able to latch onto any of those, Downing could justify his mid-tier price. Although he may be reaching the limelight of his career, he continues to start for Middlesbrough week in and week out.
Steven Defour, BUR at SOT: Of Burnley's five Premier League goals this season, Defour has assisted on three. Goals have been hard to come by for the Clarets this season, but Defour has been the one bright spot. They will once again be without Andre Gray (suspension), so Defour will have to link up Sam Vokes in some way. This is a purely low-cost, high-upside play.
FORWARD
Sadio Mane, LIV v. MUN: Liverpool come in with 10 goals in their past three games, while United have allowed only two goals in their last three. Liverpool's attacking triumvirate of Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Mane have been as dangerous as any. Mane comes as the cheapest of those three and could find space against the aforementioned Shaw and Valencia.
Johann Berg Gudmundsson, BUR at SOT: The Icelandic international is coming off two solid international outings when he put in 18 crosses and added one assist, scoring double-digit fantasy points in both matches. He has started back-to-back league matches and should feature once again based on Burnley's solid 2-0 win over Watford last time out. Berg Gudmundsson is one of the cheapest options you'll find at forward and will allow you to add players on the more expensive end.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic, MUN at LIV: Ibrahimovic started the season in sizzling form, and while he has cooled off since, he will now face a Liverpool side that has yet to keep a clean sheet in the Premiership this season. Even with Dejan Lovren questionable due to injury, Ibrahimovic should be able to exploit Liverpool's defensive shortcomings regardless of who is in the backline. He comes as the most expensive player on this slate, but he has upside to back it up.
