PLAYERS RECOMMENDATIONS
Defender: Kelley O'Hara (8 credits): The Utah Royals left-back was excellent against Thailand, both defensively and offensively, finishing with two clearances, one tackles and two interceptions while also picking up one assist on two chances created.
Midfielder: Samantha Mewis (9 credits): The North Carolina Courage midfielder played three matches for her club, but failed to find the back of the net. However, after scoring twice in the opener against Thailand, she surely has the attacking confidence now to keep her strong play going.
Forward: Alex Morgan (12.5 credits): Morgan tied a record with her five goals against Thailand, and she also assisted two other scores. She's once again expected to lead the line and should be a dominant player for the Americans.
Captain: Alex Morgan
Vice-Captain: Samantha Mewis
