FORWARDS

Odsonne Edouard, CRY v. NOR ($6,100): Maybe you'll stop reading this article at the mention of Edouard, but hear me out. He has the second-best odds to score on the slate and he's one of the cheapest expected starters at forward. Harry Kane was in a similar spot last slate at $6,800 and he got his goal before subbing off. Edouard isn't Kane, but he's cheaper and playing Norwich, so there will be opportunities. It also helps that Wilfried Zaha is suspended and Christian Benteke was absent last match, so Edouard should start again. Either way, upon lineup release, there will be viable value options. Steven Bergwijn ($5,000) has a chance to start and could be popular if that happens. Even Teemu Pukki ($5,400) can be considered given the inconsistency of Palace's back line. Dipping further, Theo Walcott ($3,700) was popular last match and William Smallbone ($3,600) could take that role Tuesday.

Son Heung-Min, TOT at SOU ($10,200): There isn't one hands-down forward on this slate because I'm not convinced Son will start and go a full 90. He was subbed off early last match like Kane and will probably be again on a short week. Tottenham have played a ton the last 10 days and rotation is realistic. Jarrod Bowen ($9,100) is a tad pricey away from home, especially with Michail Antonio ($7,400) cheaper and coming off a goal in 45 minutes. You could have a crack at one of the Watford guys like Cucho Hernandez ($8,100), but paying that much for split Watford sets doesn't make the most sense in cash games.

MIDFIELDERS

James Ward-Prowse, SOU v. TOT ($9,300): Fade Ward-Prowse at your own risk. In addition to his excellent floor, he has two goals and an assist the last two matches. At some point that will stop, but he's home against what could be a tired Tottenham team. It also helps that there isn't really another midfielder to pay for unless you slot Son or Bowen into your midfield. Ward-Prowse is expensive for a game against Tottenham, but he's at home and in great form, especially on his set pieces.

Will Hughes, CRY v. NOR ($4,500): It's a bit odd that Hughes hasn't gone up in price that much despite having a split role on Palace set pieces. That doesn't always mean everything, but he's on the biggest favorite of the slate and you're getting set pieces for less than $5,000. It's a short week and he may not start, but he's gone a full 90 the last two games, so overall fitness isn't a concern.

Jeffrey Schlupp ($3,900) doesn't have set pieces, though he could start in Palace's front three given their lack of other options. The Norwich guys are also options in this range like Przemyslaw Placheta ($3,900) and Todd Cantwell ($3,700). Palace may play better at home, but it's not like they're holding clean sheets every match. Mark Noble ($3,400) has to get a mention because he's the former PK taker for West Ham and is in line to start.

DEFENDERS

Brandon Williams, NOR at CRY ($3,200): There are no must-have defenders on this slate, which means you can plug in however much you can afford. Williams is a cheap full-back, who has had a couple down matches but has shown a floor above five fantasy points, which is acceptable for the price. You could also go Joel Ward ($3,900) on the other side because he's favored, but I'm not sure he's worth the extra money. There are a few other full-backs in this range, yet there are no guarantees as to who will start. Nathan Ferguson ($3,000) is a sneaky. play if he starts because he's a midfielder listed at defender.

Vladimir Coufal, WHU at WAT ($5,000): I'd rather save money with the West Ham full-backs since Sergio Reguilon ($6,300) and Emerson Royal ($5,800) are a bit pricey playing away in a more difficult matchup. Coufal is fairly consistent for a full-back and he's probably underpriced because of an injury that held him out a few weeks. There's a chance Matt Doherty ($3,400) starts for Tottenham, but I wouldn't fall into that trap.

GOALKEEPER

Fraser Forster, SOU v. TOT ($4,300): I don't like any goalkeeper on this slate, so it only makes sense to spend down. Forster was solid in his first start last match and will hope to keep Tottenham in check. I'm kind of banking on rotation and tired legs from Tottenham, and Southampton have taken points from all but one home match this season. Otherwise, it'll be hard to spend $5,600 on Jack Butland, while Angus Gunn ($3,900) was not great in his first start.
