Step 1 in building a good lineup: make sure your players are starting. There is a bit of guesswork in projecting lineups, and all recommendations are subject to change based on this. All said, be sure to check out the lineups page approximately one hour prior to kickoff.
Goalkeepers:
David De Gea ($5,600): With tight pricing up top, the Manchester United keeper makes for a logical choice as the heaviest favorite on the day.
Asmir Begovic ($5,100): The discount isn't huge, but it is meaningful. Chelsea will be without antagonist Diego Costa, which may or may not prove to be impactful, as Costa hasn't been the great goal scorer we saw last season.
Artur Boruc ($4,400): For those seeking the deepest of discounts, Boruc is a promising play even away from home.
Defenders:
Aaron Cresswell ($5,200): With a favorable matchup at home against Norwich, Cresswell will be in prime offensive position. He has a pair of assists and a number of crosses on the season already.
Cedric ($4,500): With 11 crosses in two home games, Cedric's role could prove crucial in Southampton's hopes of getting a win over a Swansea side fresh off their first loss of the season.
Other defenders to consider:Simon Francis ($4,200), Matt Targett ($3,300), Carl Jenkinson ($4,400)
Midfielders:
Victor Moses ($6,200): Moses' clinching goal as a sub to secure a victory over Manchester City showcases momentum he'll look to carry into this match.
Jefferson Montero ($5,700): Montero delivers crosses like no other. He's elusive and very hard to contain. He's not a huge goal scorer, but at his price the floor is extremely high.
Oscar ($7,100): In the absence of Diego Costa, Oscar's role in the offense expands, and he is a very capable contributor of both goals and assists.
Other midfielders to consider:Dimitri Payet ($8,300), Matt Ritchie ($5,500) Memphis Depay ($10,100), Aaron Ramsey ($7,300)
Forwards:
Sadio Mane ($9,200): Even without a goal this season, Mane has been the motor of the Southampton offense. He has three assists and is unlucky not to have a goal yet. He had 10 last season, so it is only a matter of time.
Anthony Martial ($7,800): It's tough to know what to make of Martial's immediate success with the Red Devils, but four goals in four games speaks volumes. I'd say keep buying until he gives a reason not to.
Loic Remy ($6,300): With Costa's suspension, Remy logically presumes to slot into the striker role. There's a slight negative with Falcao on the bench likely coming on as a sub sometime during the match, but this is nonetheless a great price on a player with such a solid opportunity to get a goal or goals.
Other forwards to consider:Alexis Sanchez ($10,800), Callum Wilson ($8,100), Pedro ($8,300), Diafra Sakho ($8,400), Daniel Sturridge ($7,600), Theo Walcott ($7,600), Graziano Pelle ($9,300)
