2025 Fantasy Outlook
Cherki joined City from Lyon this summer in a move that has much of Europe talking about the possibilities, linking an already prolific goal scorer and ball distributor with an already loaded squad. He expects to take some of the Kevin De Bruyne role, but it's almost impossible to be that direct of a replacement. He recorded 31 goal contributions between Europa League and Ligue 1 play last season and his creative numbers have been compared to the best in Europe. The biggest question in his first season will be if the minutes are consistently available to him. City are deep at every position if everyone stays healthy, and there's no guarantee frequent starts will be available for Cherki.
Four shots, no goal
Cherki generated four shots (zero on goal), two crosses (two accurate) and two corners in Wednesday's 1-1 draw against Brighton.
ANALYSIS
Cherki would be all over the field as he tried to help his team to a win, appearing to be everywhere in the final stages as he nearly carved out numerous chances to win, recording two crosses, four chances created and four shots. This all comes despite appearing of the bench for only 17 minutes, a player the club needs on the field to be at their best.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Lyon reject initial approach
Lyon have rejected Manchester City's offer for Cherki, according to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sport Deutschland.
ANALYSIS
Cherki is one of the top targets for Manchester City this summer, and the Citizens are looking to complete a move for the French star before the start of the FIFA Club World Cup. For that to happen, though, City must deliver a better offer since Lyon aren't likely to part ways with their star playmaker easily. Negotiations between the two clubs are expected to continue in the coming weeks.
