Best Anytime Touchdown Scorer Prop Bets Week 12: NFL Player Prop Predictions

TreVeyon Henderson Anytime Touchdown (-165) 

I'm going to have to learn how to spell TreVeyon Henderson's name without googling it every time, because he's here to stay. Henderson has seen at least 14 carries in all three of his appearances since taking over for the injured Rhamondre Stevenson in Week 9. He's averaging 110.0 yards from scrimmage per game and has scored five touchdowns in that three-game span. Now, he gets a date with a historically bad Bengals' defense. Cincinnati has the worst defensive DVOA in NFL history since that stat began being tracked in 1978. This is a blow-up spot for the rookie. I'd consider betting him to score twice (+360) or three times (+1800), but the potential return of Stevenson muddies that a bit. 

Michael Wilson Anytime Touchdown (+220) 

I absolutely love the value here at +220. Marvin Harrison Jr. will be out once again in Week 12, which means Michael Wilson will resume his role as WR1 for Arizona. He did phenomenally with that opportunity last week, turning a whopping 18 targets into 15 catches for 185 yards. I doubt we see a repeat performance from him or Jacoby Brissett, but there's a lot to like about this matchup. 

Part of the reason Brissett was so effective last week is that San Francisco simply can't rush the passer. Brissett is the NFL's seventh-highest rated passer when he's not pressured, per PFF, and SF generates pressure at the lowest rate in the league. Jacksonville's rush isn't that bad, but its closer than you might think. The Jags have generated just 15 sacks – the third-fewest in the league. Brisett should have time to sit in the pocket, and I think that gives Michael Wilson a great shot to find the end zone. 

D'Andre Swift Anytime Touchdown (+125) 

D'Andre Swift will draw a matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Everything I know about football historically tells me the Steelers should be a tough run defense, but that has been far from true this year. In fact, Pittsburgh is the league's fifth-worst run defense in EPA. Meanwhile, since their Week 5 bye, the Bears have been the league's fourth-best rushing offense in EPA. Swift has scored a TD in three of his five appearances during that span, and I think he's a great value to do so again at +125.

Davante Adams Anytime Touchdown (-145) 

Davante Adams leads all the league with 10 receiving touchdowns so far. He has found the end zone at least once in four straight games, recording seven touchdowns in that span. It feels like he's really clicking with MVP candidate Matthew Stafford right now, and I don't think that'll change in Week 12. You can't really run on the Buccaneers' top-10 rush defense, but you sure can throw on them. Tampa Bay allows the sixth-most passing yards per game and they're surrendering 36.0 PPG over the last two weeks. Look for Adams to stay hot and find the end zone again in Week 12.
