There usually are plenty of Tuesday games, but with Thanksgiving on the horizon, this week's schedule is skewed towards large Wednesday and Friday slates. As a result, the only game tonight is the Stars in Edmonton, starting at 9:00 p.m. EST. SLATE PREVIEW
Edmonton is considered the favorite based on FanDuel's moneyline at minus-142 to Dallas' plus-118. The over/under is set at 6.5 for this game. Odds aside, the Oilers earned a 6-3 victory Saturday to snap a three-game losing streak (0-2-1) and improve to 10-9-5. Meanwhile, Dallas has earned at least a point in seven of its past eight games (6-1-1), and the Stars hold a 13-5-4 record. Mikko Rantanen will miss Tuesday's action because of an automatic one-game suspension, which might go some way toward explaining why Edmonton is being treated as the favorite despite the Stars' greater success this season.
MVP
Jason Robertson, DAL at EDM ($20,400): Robertson is in the final season of his four-year, $31 million contract, and he's been bolstering his negotiating position recently. The 26-year-old has an unreal 10 goals and 14 points across his active six-game scoring streak. Robertson hasn't just gotten good puck luck over that stretch; he's also been forcing the issue with an incredible 33 shots over that span. With Rantanen out, Robertson is an even more important piece of Dallas' attack tonight.
UTILITY
Connor McDavid, EDM vs. DAL ($12,400): McDavid has continued to play like McDavid, supplying 10 goals and 33 points through 24 appearances this season. He also has seven goals and 19 points across his past 12 outings, so there is no evidence that he's forgotten who he is. You could also use him as the MVP instead of Robertson. The latter is the even hotter hand, but if you believe Edmonton will win this game, then McDavid makes a ton of sense in the MVP slot.
Evan Bouchard, EDM vs. DAL ($9,400): Bouchard didn't record a point in his first six outings of 2025-26, but he's been among the league's top offensive defensemen since that slow start. The 26-year-old has three goals and 20 points over his past 18 appearances. Note that my recommended lineup is $1,800 under budget, so there is enough room to upgrade to Roope Hintz ($10,400) if you wanted to, which would give you access to the complete trio of Dallas' best line. Hintz has been strong with five goals and 17 points through 17 appearances, though taking him even more strongly slants you towards Dallas, so it depends on whether you believe the Stars will best Edmonton.
Tyler Seguin, DAL at EDM ($8,000): Seguin has shrugged off his slow start to the season by providing four goals and eight points across his past nine appearances. The hot winger will look to carry that momentum while playing alongside two fantastic linemates in Hintz and Robertson.
Zach Hyman, EDM vs. DAL ($5,000): Hyman has gotten off to a slow start with two assists in five appearances since returning from a wrist injury, but things should start picking up for him. He's being given every opportunity to succeed with an average of 21:06 of ice time, including 3:01 with the man advantage. Given his affordable price and his potential, he's worth taking a chance on.
Jamie Benn, DAL at EDM ($3,000): This is a risky one. At the age of 36, Benn isn't the player he once was, and he's been limited to an assist in three outings since returning from surgery to repair a collapsed lung. Still, he has the potential to do far better than his rock-bottom price, especially when you consider that his playing time is trending upwards (9:46 in his debut, 12:06 on Thursday, 13:30 on Saturday) as he gets eased back into action. By taking a chance on him, a lot of funds are being freed up to grab high-end forwards.
