Below are our 2016 Masters rankings. This list is geared toward winner-take-all leagues and leagues that reward the lowest aggregate score, but it can serve other leagues as well, no matter the nuances. Check the comments section for golfers who are scratched.

Note: Re-emerged as World No. 1 after consecutive wins heading into Augusta, where he's knocked on the door twice. Solid favorite this week.
2. Jordan Spieth
Note: Defending green jacket owner after tying scoring record last season. Recent struggles but should be more than solid during Masters week.
3. Rory McIlroy
Note: Seeking to complete career grand slam of majors with a win at Augusta.
4. Bubba Watson
Note: Two-time champ has won two of last four green jackets and his game fits Augusta National perfectly.
5. Adam Scott

Note: Young Japanese sensation is an elite ballstriker who notched a top-5 at last year's Masters. Earned second PGA Tour at Phoenix Open in February.
14. Brandt Snedeker
Note: Consistent ballstriker with elite putting, Snedeker has twice contended for the green jacket. Would be no surprise to see him contend again.
15. Patrick Reed
Note: Augusta State alum followed up a missed cut at his first Masters with a T22 last year. Form has been solid dating back to late 2015.
16. Danny Willett
Note: Tied for 38th in first Masters last year. Recently tied for third at the WGC-Cadillac Championship.
17. Sergio Garcia
Note: Now in his mid-thirties, Garcia is among the best players to have not won a major yet. Spotty record at Augusta and has never truly contended.

Note: Posted tie for sixth at 2015 Masters in revival year. Enters with solid form and could surprise for another top-10 if putting holds up.
