Tournament Preview
For the 11th time in a row the Dom Pedro Victoria Golf Course will host the Portugal Masters. This resort course was designed by Arnold Palmer and is known for its low scores. Weather is forecasted to be perfect, so an abundance of birdies should continue this year. There is a loaded field this week in Vilamoura, with many past champions returning. The course consists of wide, flat fairways with large undulating greens. Bunkers are everywhere, but many can be avoided with distance off the tee, and water is in play on seven of the 18 holes. Recent form and course history once again will be considered heavily.

DraftKings Picks
Lucas Bjerregaard $8,300 (50/1)
There are many great choices in the top tier, but Bjerregaard at $8,300 is a great place to start. He comes in with some heat, finishing T9 at Omega European Masters last time out. He also has some pretty good course history here, as he finished T12 in 2016 and T9 in 2015. Bjerregaard can launch it off the tee, averaging over 308 yards this year, and he is also playing solid with his irons, ranking 56th in greens in regulation on tour.
Stephen Gallacher $7,800 (45/1)
Stephen has great history at Dom Pedro Victoria GC. He finished T12 last year and prior to that had three top 10's in his last three appearances here. Gallagher also finished T20 at Omega recently, with a 65 in the second round. Furthermore, he is long off the tee, averaging 297.3 yards and is ranked 38th in GIR on tour.
Mikko Korhonen $7,600 (66/1)
Korhonen has finished high at Portugal Masters the last two years. He was T3 in 2016 and T9 in 2015. Korhonen was T38 last week at KLM open, but missed two straight cuts prior to that. He has been close at times this year with two T2 finishes, is ranked 51st in greens in regulation and is solid off the tee in distance and accuracy.
Robert Rock $7,600 (55/1)
There is definitely some risk here, as Rock has missed his last two cuts, but l believe this is the week that he'll bounce back. Robert has enjoyed success here with a T5 last year and T9 in 2015. He has snuck in two top-10s after poor finishes the week prior this season, and is also driving the ball almost 292 yards on average and hitting 69.8 GIR. I really like Rock as a value pick and to contend this week.
