Garners five targets in OT win
Johnson finished with three receptions (five targets) for 38 yards in Sunday's 26-20 win over the Seahawks.
ANALYSIS
Johnson finished third in targets for the Rams following Puka Nacua's early ejection. The added time from the extra period helped the former reach 38 receiving yards following last week's one-catch performance against Minnesota. With the Rams' receiving crew back at full strength, Johnson's fantasy value takes a hit heading into next Monday's tilt versus Miami.

2020
Johnson tripled his catch total and drew more than three times more targets in 2021 than in his rookie 2020 campaign, leading to a 36-360-0 line. The one statistical downgrade for the Minnesota product was that he didn't get into the end zone after notching a pair of touchdown grabs the season prior. Although Russell Gage and Julio Jones were brought in this offseason, Chris Godwin's recovery from a December ACL tear could extend into the regular season, giving Johnson a chance to take some reps. If Johnson makes a strong impression during that span, he could remain in a decent complementary role the rest of the way.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could get Week 2 start
Puke Nacua is set to be placed on the IR due to a knee injury, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports, which could open up a spot in the Rams' starting lineup for Johnson.
ANALYSIS
Nacua is expected to miss just four games, but that might be enough time for Johnson to establish himself as a significant part of the Rams' passing game. Johnson made a surprising impact in Week 1 after Nacua left the game in the second quarter, finishing the night with five catches on seven targets for 79 yards. Tutu Atwell and Jordan Whittington may also be in line for increased opportunities while Nacua is sidelined.
