This article is part of our NFL Picks series.
DDD and I won the week with 12-4 marks, putting him in second place behind Pianowski who had already clinched (apparently he sat his starters last week) and me tied for third with Payne. Payne did especially well with his best bets (12-4-1), but I'll chalk that up to beginner's luck. We also went 11-5 on majority picks and 1-1 on unanimous ones.
This week, we all like the Titans, and Pianowski made them his best bet.

This week we have one unanimous pick, the Titans. Last week, we won with the Dolphins, but lost with the Giants, bringing our record to 23-17-1 on unanimous picks. We also went 11-5 on majority picks (three or more writers) to go 130-120-6 on the year. We were 26-21-1 on unanimous picks and 132-115-9 on majority picks in 2018.

Erickson | I don't feel especially confident about any of these picks, then again I guess that's the nature of the playoffs. I've been talking myself out of the Titans pick, or at least being confident about it, but I'll leave it in there. |
Pianowski | Maybe the Patriots will hocus pocus mojo their way into a big win, they've done that before. Bill Belichick is the best coach in our lifetimes, any sport. But Tennessee has the better players. And the Titans also match up specifically well with New England. I could only take the Titans here. I don't think the moment will be too big for Ryan Tannehill, but I guess we'll see. |
Liss | I like fading Kirk Cousins against a stout defense -- Saints roll at home. The other three were closer, but give me the Titans whose bludgeoning style should translate outdoors in January and the Seahawks laying less than three with one of the greatest quarterbacks in league history. |
Payne | I put money on the Bills and Titans each at -2.5 at plus odds. It wouldn't surprise me if both teams won. Even though they're a road favorite, it's tough to see Seattle not covering given all of the Eagles injuries. |
Del Don | I like the Saints to roll, the Seahawks to cover and the Titans moneyline. Bills/Texans was a toss up. |
