NFL Picks: CAR, TB, HOU, GB, STL, PIT and BAL

This article is part of our NFL Picks series.

Erickson went 9-7 to win the week, though apparently he thinks he went 10-6. This week is bizarre in that we have a whopping seven consensus picks (something that almost never happens, especially late in the year). Moreover, despite all the agreement, Erickson and Pianowski's best bets are the Jaguars, while mine is the Bills.

Consensus Picks

This week we have seven consensus picks: the Buccaneers, Texans, Panthers, Packers, Rams, Steelers and Ravens. Last week we went 1-1 to put us at 15-23-3 on the season.

Erickson I don't understand how the Bills can be laying points on the road against anyone right now, even the Jaguars... Weird, I went 9-7 last week yet lost my two best bets... Once again, the sportsbooks take the cowards way out with not even issuing any line for fear that Rodgers plays. We always shoulder the risk - sports betting is perilous work, peeps... Second best bet is the Browns.
PianowskiGus Bradley is doing a nifty job with Jacksonville. I don't understand why the ordinary Bills are favored.
LissWhat a strange set of picks with two best bets opposed to mine and seven consenus ones. The Texans really should have beaten the Jaguars last week, and I think the Bills will handle them. I hate my Raiders pick but at least Erickson and Pianow will go down with me. My second best bet is the Dolphins, another one no one likes.
StopaThere aren't many guarantees in the NFL, but Geno Smith on the road against this Panthers defense is as close as we can get... I have to buy the Bills low and sell the Jags high, even though I don't like it... The Redskins might be better with Cousins at QB, and I like how that line moved three points in their favor after it opened... The Cowboys never cover big spreads at home. It's really that simple. Green Bay would be my second best bet.
Del Don I picked Atlanta as my best bet before it was announced Kirk Cousins would start over Robert Griffin (when the line was below 7.0), and I don't feel as good about it now but will stand pat. Washington truly looks like it has thrown in the towel, and Matt Ryan has played at an elite level at home this season. I'm backing the Pats fully aware it's likely the sucker side. The Chiefs would be my second best bet.
