Best NFL Week 12 PrizePicks Plays - Monday Night Football

Unfortunately it was a rough Sunday for our PrizePicks plays, as the Titans allowed some big plays as expected -- just not against Rashid Shaheed. The Giants allowed plenty of yards on the ground, but Jahmyr Gibbs was so effective that David Montgomery was barely involved. The data was right, but I mistakenly went away from the studs.

We will try to get back on track Monday with a host of players at various levels.

Best PrizePicks Picks current as of 9:00 AM ET Monday.

Jalen Coker 7 Fantasy Score (MORE)

One of the more reliable moves this season has been targeting the 49ers with slot receivers. San Francisco is ceding far more fantasy football points to players lining up there than any other team, and the middle of the field has been even softer since Fred Warner went down a month ago.

Coker should play around 70 percent of the snaps, particularly if the game script goes as expected and forces Carolina into a pass-heavy approach. Coker has been the primary slot receiver for the Panthers since his Week 7 debut, getting over 60 percent of his snaps in that area. He is also benefitting from the attention paid to fellow wideout Tetairoa McMillan on the outside.

To remedy my mistake from Sunday I will be sprinkling some on McMillan, as San Francisco can be beaten several ways. Just last week, Michael Wilson and Trey McBride -- a glorified slot WR -- combined for 25 receptions and 300 yards against them.

George Kittle 58.5 Receiving Yards (MORE)

Like many people, I've had a tough time pegging Kittle's production. He's one of the hardest players to project because head coach Kyle Shanahan switches up the game plan frequently. The data for this matchup is too good to ignore, though.

Carolina's run defense is decent against the run. San Francisco is bound to get yards on the ground with Christian McCaffrey back there, but the Panthers should offer enough resistance to prevent the 49ers from pounding the rock all night. The Panthers have beaten by opposing tight ends several times this season, largely due to poor coverage from the linebacking corps. To finish up, only two teams -- one being the 49ers -- have racked up fewer sacks than the Panthers this season, so Kittle should often not be needed as an extra blocker.

Add it all up, and Kittle should be free to run plenty and could have another big night in the box score.

Bryce Young 0.5 Interceptions (MORE)

This isn't shade at the young signal caller. It's just business. Several factors point to this being a "rocking chair" type of play -- the first being the game script. I expect Carolina to abandon the run early, either due to the scoreboard or consistently running into the crowded boxes Robert Saleh will throw at Young in an attempt to force him to beat them. Second, while the soft spot in this defense is over the middle -- exactly why we like the Coker props -- it's also where Young's limitations show up. As one of the shortest QBs in the league, attacking the middle increases the chances of tipped balls at the line of scrimmage or deflections in traffic. All it takes is one.
