Best EuroLeague Bets for Wednesday, Oct. 15
You can choose to follow my plays or not, but if you are planning to make any EuroLeague wagers Wednesday, promise me you will find something to go with in the matchup between Valencia and Hapoel Tel Aviv. Just look at the total -- how often do we ever get a number over 180.0 in the EuroLeague? Plus, there will be no fans in attendance, which often improves the conditions for points. Lastly, Hapoel has gotten into many high-scoring tilts and runs a tight rotation, which is optimal for trust purposes.

Jabari Parker Over 10.5 Points (-110 FanDuel)
Jabari Parker 12+ Points (+137 FanDuel)
Jabari Parker 15+ Points (+304 FanDuel)
Ever since he came up a little short for us in Round 1 I've been waiting to unleash the Parker ladder. He has started his first campaign with Partizan rather quietly, not yet surpassing 11 points in any game, EuroLeague or domestic. I refuse to believe that's the norm with what he showed last season for Barcelona. We have a couple things working in our favor, the first being the absence of Shake Milton, which opens up some usage. The second one is the matchup. Parker was a thorn in Real Madrid's side last season, averaging 15.2 ppg across five matchups. I know it's a new team, but his role isn't all that different and he is primed to break out.
Nando de Colo Over 9.5 Points (-110 bet365)
Nando de Colo Over 3.5 Assists (-135 FanDuel)
Nando de Colo Over 1.5 Threes (+135 FanDuel)
Is this a little over the top for a veteran who dealt with injury issues recently and faces a Panathinaikos team that is a heavy favorite? Perhaps. Is it a little too much for as ASVEL team that runs varying rotations. Perhaps again, but I just can't get over these numbers. Even with limited minutes, de Colo is crafty enough to flirt with all these numbers in the same game. Also, what happens if ASVEL decides to actually push this game and go light on the second leg of the double-game week ? de Colo could put up big stats in only around 25 minutes. If you want to avoid de Colo, I have no issue going back to the Glynn Watson points+assists play we went with before, as there is still a Shaquille Harrison absence to get after. After all, Panathinaikos is ceding more assists to opposing guards than any other club.
Vasilije Micic Over 19.5 Points+Assists (-110 bet365)
This is what I'm choosing to go with in the Hapoel-Valencia game. Micic has only hit this number in one of three EuroLeague games thus far, but he couldn't find his shot in one and had foul trouble in another. Although we mention frequently that that type of thing happens in basketball, I think we have a little leeway here with this being the highest-paced contest and the game with the highest total Micic has been a part of all season. Micic is averaging 25 minutes and in a tight game I think 31 minutes is a possibility -- especially if a key rotational piece like Collin Malcolm is unable to go.
