DraftKings LoL: Thursday LPL Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings League of Legends series.

GAMES (EDT)

  • 5:00 a.m: Dominus Esports vs. eStar
  • 7:00 a.m: Team WE vs. Invictus Gaming

DMO vs. eStar

DMO looked really bad against V5, and losing their main carries hurt them a lot. eStar looked good for not having Cryin as they were playing through bot side, but the thing with them is that they subbed out their top laner after Game 1 and brought him back for the last series. I believe this was over-confidence by coaching staff, thinking they were able to beat LGD straight up even after how much of an upgrade LGD got. The one thing about eStar is that they haven't changed their game-plan from last split, as they love to play towards dragons and bot lane. That being said, DMO have one of the weakest bot lanes in the league, and this game can get out of hand real quick; eStar should smash.

Prediction: eStar 2-0

eStar Players to Target: Everyone

IG vs. WE

WE lost a tough game to Suning, who played JDG really well Wednesday. Beishang is under-performing, and he seems to have lost some of his aggressiveness in the early games, or maybe other teams have figured out his pathing. If they want to beat IG they are going to need Beishang to get back to his old form because they have a good shot if he plays the correct way. WE's team fighting and drafts have been really good for the most part, as they share a 66 percent KP

IG vs.

WE's team fighting and drafts have been really good for the most part, as they share a 66 percent KP across the team. IG were a disappointment last playoffs and then at the MSC Cup. It's the Rookie show, as TheShy looked horrible, Ning being back made no difference, and the bot lane are nowhere to be found during team fights. It might be a coaching thing because this team still has amazing players across the board. IG needs to go back to their old ways and draft for a team fighting comp instead of a split pushing comp. They are capable of out-fighting opponents when they group up, but instead they rely on TheShy to get ahead and play for solo kills. IG had one of the worst KP% in the league even though they finished first during the regular season. Hopefully they changed their outlook going into the summer because they are running out of opportunities to earn championship points for worlds. This game is a make-or-break for IG, as they should be way better than they have been in recent games.

Prediction: IG 2-1

IG Players to Target: Ning ($6,800), Rookie ($7,200), Puff ($7,400)

WE Players to Target: Teacherma ($6,800), Jiumeng ($7,200)
