This contest features two challenger Korean teams with upsets Tuesday night against Griffin and Sandbox, respectively. Team Dynamics took cared of Sandbox Gaming with a clean 2-0 sweep as they played a slow, controlled LoL and made Sandbox make the mistake. The ability to play this macro style is going to be tough against a team like Seorabeol who finished in first place in the Korean Challenger league. SBG took a hard loss first game as they got outplayed through teamfights, but then found their groove and showed off their amazing teamfight that they showcased in the CK league. SBG had the bloodiest games, highest first blood rate, highest kill percent and we saw what this team is able to do against Griffin who opted after Game 1 to play a slow-style game. SBG isn't the cleanest team as their objective rate is middle of the pack, but it evens out when they have good teamfighting numbers. Both teams know how to draft for their style but the edge goes to SBG as they have players like Sangyoon, KaKao and Thal who has been pros before and the leadership on this team is what takes them over the hump to hopefully get back into the LCK.

SB vs. Griffin
Sandbox had no clue on how to play League of Legends on Tuesday as their drafts made little sense going into the comp Team Dynamics had. Sandbox had no early game presence, no objective control and it seems like they were out there just playing the game. Griffin on the other hand is getting hard-punished by their coach. I have said this multiple times before, but H Dragon is a horrible coach that has set his team up for failure. The players can performed, but if they are handicapped before the match starts by their comp then they will have a hard time winning games. The acquisition of WADID looks to have helped a little, providing a veteran presence on the map and they had the right idea Game 1, but then ended up going away from that. For here I expect Griffin to come out and take care of business against SB as long as they get a good draft and they are able to play the way they are capable of.
