India and West Indies are set to lock horns in the second ODI of the five-match series in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday. In the series opener, the home side registered a comfortable eight-wicket win, courtesy brilliant centuries from captain Virat Kohli and vice-captain Rohit Sharma. Shimron Hetmyer – 9 Cr
First in the list of key players features West Indies left-handed batsman Shimron Hetmyer. The 21-year-old had a brilliant day in the series opener, when he scored a stunning century to help the Caribbean giants in producing their best batting performance of the tour. Valued at 9 Cr, Hetmyer has shown time and again that he belongs at this level and can prove to be an excellent acquisition. Hetmyer, till now, has an outstanding record in the 50-over format where he has three hundreds to his name in just 13 matches.
Virat Kohli – 11 Cr
Second in the list features India captain Virat Kohli, who had an outstanding day in the first ODI, where he was named player of the match. The right-hander led from the front while chasing a tricky target and scored his 36th ODI century to guide his team home with nearly eight overs to spare. Valued at 11 Cr, Kohli will be an ideal acquisition for the team and is a must player to have. So far in 2018, Kohli averages over 127 in 10 innings with the help of four centuries and three half-centuries.
Kuldeep Yadav – 9 Cr
Third in the list of key players features India left-arm off-spinner Kuldeep Yadav. The left-arm wrist-spinner was rested in the series opener and is expected to take part in the game at the expense of either a pacer or all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. The 23-year-old, who has represented India in 29 ODIs, with 58 wickets to his name, is valued at 9 Cr and can prove to be an excellent acquisition due to playing conditions, which normally suit wrist-spinners.
