This article is part of our Dream11 Fantasy CPBL series.
Note: Saturday's game between these two teams was rained out. Both teams will use Saturday's scheduled starters in this contest. As everything about this game is identical to the game which was supposed to occur Saturday, the following article is a repeat of the analysis originally given for Saturday's game.
Rakuten Monkeys (16-5) at Fubon Guardians (9-13)
Sunday, May 16, 5:05 AM EDT
Projected Starters
RHP Lisalverto Bonilla (2-0, 4.28 ERA) vs RHP Mike Loree (0-0, 0.00 ERA)
Game Preview
The Monkeys have beaten the Guardians in all seven of their matchups this season, including a 10-inning, 7-6 victory in the series opener Friday. They'll send Dominican righty Lisalverto Bonilla to the mound to try to extend that streak to eight. Bonilla's 4.28 ERA on the season looks mediocre on the surface, but it's nearly two runs better than the league-average mark in a season where offense has exploded. In his one start against the Guardians this season, he struck out seven batters in seven innings while allowing just two runs. The Guardians will finally see Mike Loree make his season debut after missing the early part of the season with a collarbone injury. The veteran American righty has been one of the best pitchers in the CPBL over his seven seasons in the league, recording a 3.19 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP. He didn't look great in two rehab starts this season, however, allowing eight runs in eight innings while posting a WHIP of 2.00.

Top Picks
Lisalverto Bonilla, Monkeys: Once Mike Loree demonstrates he's fully healthy, he'll be one of the few pitchers you could consider starting against the Monkeys' potent lineup. Bonilla is a perfectly capable pitcher in his own right and doesn't come with the same risks, so he's the safer play here, though there's certainly a chance that taking a risk on Loree could pay off.
Chu Yu-Hsien, Monkeys: Chu is almost never a bad captain choice. He's hit an incredible .420 with an .852 slugging percentage and a league-leading 11 home runs through 20 games, four more than the next-closest hitter.
Lin Hung-Yu, Monkeys: Lin has a strong bat for any position, not just catcher, as shown by the fact that he regularly bats cleanup for the league's best offense. He's hit .351 while scoring 17 runs in 18 games this season.
Lee Tsung-Hsien, Guardians: Lee isn't a star, but he does enough to be worthy of inclusion at his cheap price of nine credits. He's hitting a career-best .288 things season and has stolen three bases.
