We have another week of MACtion action in the docket this week, and I'll be running down my favorite DraftKings and FanDuel DFS selections for Tuesday and Wednesday's games. We'll divide the article in half, looking first at Tuesday's offering.

Quarterback
Broc Lowry, 
Western Michigan (DK $9,400, FD $10,800) @ Northern Illinois
Fading Lowry proved to be our biggest mistake last week, as the signal-caller was found in most of the evening's winning lineups. We won't make the same mistakes this week. Lowry faces a Northern Illinois defense that has kept its team in games, but there'll be no shortage of opportunities for Lowry due to the opponent's dreary offense. Lowry's best asset is his dual-threat capability, and Northern Illinois has had problems containing mobile quarterbacks his season.
Ben Finley, 
Akron (DK $8,000, FD $10,300) @ Bowling Green
Parker Navarro proves to be too expensive due to his recent shaky results, but Finley's numbers have been on the rise. He enjoyed a massive outing against Kent State last week, and it's only some mediocre early results that have tamped down his weekly fantasy-point average. The public could snooze on Finley if they're only following the averages, so I'll gladly take Finley in a bid to surpass the field.
Running Back
Jordan Gant, Akron (DK $7,300, FD $9,100) @ Bowling Green

I'm going right back to the well this week with Gant, who put up 96 yards and a touchdown against Kent State last week. Although Bowling Green employs a 3-5-5 defense that's focused on stopping the run, they haven't been very successful. Gant's resistance will be similar to Kent State's, so we should have confidence that Gant will get close to last week's totals.
Sieh Bangura, 
Ohio (DK $8,300, FD $11,000) vs. UMass
I'm also running with Bangura for the second consecutive week. He turned in 97 yards and a touchdown against Western Michigan last week, and he should have an effortless time against a UMass defense that ranks at the bottom of the conference. For reference, they allowed Jordan Gant to run all over them for 153 yards two weeks ago. That gives you a general idea of how poor their recent results have been.
Wide Receiver
Marcel Williams, Akron (DK $5,200, FD $8,200) @ Bowling Green
Although Kent State pulled a surprise upset, Williams turned in one of the best receiving results in the country last week, if not the entire season. Ben Finley targeted Willians 18 times, and he took full advantage of the target share with 206 yards and two touchdowns. Although Israel Polk (DK $4,700, FD $7,800) is another standout for Akron, Williams' salary is low enough to target at a position where we need to find value, especially if we intend on rostering two quarterbacks.
Tailique Williams, Western Michigan (DK $4,200, FD $8,500) @ Northern Illinois
Although Willians is a shoo-in on DraftKings, his FanDuel salary leaves a bit to be desired. Still, he's a great stack option if you're going with Lowry this week. Most of Lowry's other options don't come anywhere close to Williams' volume, so he's fairly safe to be an offensive spark plug for the passing game.
Jyrin Johnson, 
Bowling Green (DK $4,100, FD $5,900) vs. Akron
We must continue to aim low to address our salary cap concerns, and Johnson can certainly help us out. Johnson would benefit from Drew Pyne's return, but based on how poorly Akson defended against a mediocre Kent State squad, one has to think that Johnson will have some success regardless of who the ball is coming from. Lucian Anderson found him several times last week, so he should have a safe floor with either quarterback.
Wednesday MACtion Slate Overview
Quarterback
Ta'Quan Roberson, 
Buffalo (DK $8,100, FD $9,500) vs. Miami (OH)
Roberson had a down performance last week, and I am a bit leery of playing him against a Miami pass defense that has performed well this season. Still, Buffalo is a solid squad top to bottom, and Vegas has them only a slight underdog.

Miami (OH) @ Buffalo
Finding a suitable second quarterback was tough. I can't trust Kent State's Dru DeShields despite his outlier monster game last week. His salaries are also completely unreasonable. I don't have a lot of faith in Hesson either, but he has another week of practice under his belt after stepping in for De'Quan Finn, who has left the program for the transfer portal. Buffalo proved they have some vulnerabilities last week, and although I don't know if I trust Hesson enough to play in the S-FLEX this week, his salaries hit the right notes, and we could see some improvement as he settles into the role.
Running Back
Jordan Brunson, Miami (OH) (DK $6,100, FD $7,400) @ Buffalo
Kenny Tracy is done for the year, leaving Brunson as the top option. The team needed him with Henry Hesson running the offense, but his results didn't meet expectations. Despite some lower totals, Miami's other running backs barely register any output, and the team will need to shift its focus to the run moving forward, especially if Hesson continues to struggle.
Al-Jay Henderson, Buffalo (DK $6,900, FD $8,600) vs. Miami (OH)
Henderson is a viable candidate based on his body of work this season, although he dipped below expectations last week. Buffalo runs a fairly balanced offense, but Miami's recent quarterback regression could ease the need for a vertical presence in Buffalo's offense. That's good news for Henderson, who could excel if Buffalo runs more often.
Wide Receiver
Da'Shawn Martin, 
Kent State (DK $4,700, FD $7,00) vs. Central Michigan
Since I anticipate the Golden Flashes will try to make the magic happen again, I'll take Martin as De Shields' top target despite my lack of faith in the quarterback. Sometimes it's perfectly fine to go with a receiver with high target volume despite quarterback quality. Since Kent State is generally unfamiliar with the kind of totals we saw last week, it's hard to look beyond and find anyone worth considering, so I'll take Martin's result last week and run with it.
