The college football season is barely a month old, and already we've seen several outstanding games and standout performances by players from across the country.
While the sport has been dominated in recent years by star underclassmen who leave early for the NFL, that trend may be changing now that players can make endorsement deals and receive a share of the revenue colleges make from athletics. Those changes, along with the transfer portal, is leading to more seniors taking center stage on the gridiron.
2025 College Football All-Senior Team
With that in mind, RotoWire continues its college football betting analysis by choosing some of the top upperclassmen in college football by creating an All-Senior Team after Week 6. Any senior, redshirt or true, in the Football Bowl Subdivision is eligible.

When Navy pulled off the first leg of the Midshipmen's Commander-in-Chief's Trophy by beating Air Force, 34-31, in Annapolis on Saturday, they did so thanks to the larger-than-life exploits of senior quarterback Blake Horvath, who threw for a career-high 339 yards and three touchdowns in the victory, while adding a team-high 130 yards and a score on 17 carries for the 5-0 service academy.
For his on-field heroics against the 1-4 Falcons, Horvath earns our All-Senior Team QB1 spot, while the man who hauled in all three of his touchdown passes (while posting a school record 243 yards on eight catches), Eli Heidenreich, also made the team in Week 6.
Outside of Annapolis, the other offensive skill position players to make the list included running backs Jam Miller of Alabama and Cincinnati's Evan Pryor, while Heidenreich is joined by Chris Bell of Louisville and Hank Beatty of Baylor in the receiver group and tight end Michael Trigg of Baylor.
Miller's day in Tuscaloosa was especially sweet, with the senior gashing Vanderbilt's defense to the tune of 136 yards on 22 carries in the Tide's 30-14 rolling of the Commodores, while Pryor had 111 yards on 10 carries with two touchdowns in the Bearcats' 38-30 home upset of 14th ranked Iowa State.
In the Cardinals' case, fans couldn't fault Bell for Louisville's 30-27 overtime loss to 24th ranked UVA, with the senior making 12 catches for 170 yards and two touchdowns in the loss, while Beatty had 186 yards on five catches and a touchdown in Illinois' 43-27 road rout of Purdue and Trigg had 155 yards on eight catches for Baylor in the Bears' 35-34 barnburner of a win over Kansas State.
In the trenches, this week's All-Senior Team is headlined by tackles Caleb Tiernan of Northwestern and Oklahoma's Derek Simmons, while guards Laurence Seymore of Western Kentucky and Duke's Justin Pickett also made the cut, as did San Diego State center Ross Ulugalu-Maseuli.

On the flip side of the trenches, this week's updated All-Senior Team is headlined by defensive ends David Bailey of Texas Tech and Michigan's Derrick Moore, while defensive tackles Ezra Christensen of New Mexico State and Florida's Brien Taylor Jr. round out the unit in Week 6.
Bailey's day against Houston saw him make three tackles and tackles for loss with two sacks as the Red Raiders moved to 5-0 for the year with a 35-11 rout of the Cougars in the Space City, while Christensen and the Aggies beat the brakes off Sam Houston State, 37-10, behind six tackles, two tackles for loss and a sack by the senior. Taylor spurred Florida's 29-21 upset over ninth ranked Texas in The Swamp, with three tackles, 1.5 sacks and tackles for loss in the win, while Moore had five tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and a sack in the Wolverines' 24-10 breeze over Wisconsin.
As far as linebackers are concerned, Jake Golday of Cincinnati, Gage Summers of Akron and Texas Tech's Jacob Rodriguez made the cut in Week 6, as Golday had 12 tackles (six solo), a sack, tackle for loss and a pass deflection in the Bearcats' win, while Summers added eight tackles, a sack and a tackle for loss in the Zips' 28-22 win over Central Michigan and Rodriguez had five tackles, two tackles for loss and pass deflections for the Red Raiders.
In the defensive secondary, cornerbacks Ayden Garnes of Arizona and Jalen Bainer of San José State were joined by safeties Jakobe Thomas of Miami and Temple's Jamere Jones in Week 6.
Of that quartet, Garnes had two tackles and a pass deflection for the 4-1 Wildcats in their 41-13 home demolition of lowly Oklahoma State, while Thomas had five tackles, one sack and tackle for loss and an interception in the Hurricanes' 28-22 road win over FSU and Jones added four tackles and an interception in the Owls' 27-21 victory over UTSA. Finally, Bainer led all players in tackles, with nine as the Spartans upset New Mexico at home, 35-28, with the senior cornerback adding a sack, tackle for loss and two interceptions in the victory.
