A showdown between two top-25 teams in Texas Tech vs. Texas headline a seven-game slate for DraftKings' $12 Big Jam contest and a $2.5k top payout. FanDuel also has six games on tap for their featured contest - the $5.55 All American, with $1k going to the winner.
Targets
Toumani Camara, F, Georgia ($6,800 DK, $7,900 FD)
Camara has had a breakthrough season for the Bulldogs and gets a matchup tonight against Auburn, a team that is mediocre defensively and plays up-tempo. Some may shy away from him after a quiet fantasy night against Arkansas, but Camara fouled out and only played 15 minutes. Auburn does a much better job of defending the perimeter, which should open things up for Camara. Pending any foul trouble, he's a likely double-double candidate tonight at just a slightly above-average salary.
JD Notae, G, Arkansas ($5,600 DK, $6,800 FD)
Notae gets a generous $1,200 salary discount on DraftKings and that makes him hard to pass up on in what is projected to be the highest-scoring game of the slate. Although Notae comes off the bench, it's factored into his price-tag and he's still fifth on the team in minutes with two 30+ minute games in his last six. LSU is a poor defensive team, and with Arkansas pushing the pace, it wouldn't be all that unlikely to see them reach 90 tonight.
Chase Audige, G, Northwestern ($5,200 DK, $5,900 FD)
Audige is coming off his worst game of the season, in which he shot 1-of-7 from the floor in a 25-point loss to Illinois. That creates some value here in a better match-up against an Ohio St. team that is much better on the offensive end. Audige leads Northwestern in three-point attempts, and that's an area where the Buckeyes have struggled, allowing opponents to shoot 34 percent from distance. Look for Ohio State to focus on shutting down Miller Kopp after he went off for 23 points in their first meeting, and open things up for Audige as a result.
Fades
DJ Funderburk, F, N.C. State ($7,200 DK, $6,100 FD)
Funderburk has been an active and efficient part of the Wolfpack's offense since returning from an injury that caused him to miss three games. Unfortunately, tonight he'll have to face Florida St. who is allowing opponents to shoot just 43 percent from inside-the-arc due to their length that features 7-foot-1 Balsa Koprivica in the paint. Expect a lot of kick-out threes tonight, which could make Thomas Allen ($4,900 DK, $4,300 FD) a good low-cost N.C. State pivot.
Kyler Edwards, G, Texas Tech ($6,600 DK, $6,000 FD)
Edwards is coming off his best game of the season, a 19-point performance in which he only missed three shots in a rout over Iowa St. Things are likely to be different tonight against a Texas squad that is not only one of the best in the country defensively, but one of the best at defending the three. With Mac McClung and Terrence Shannon taking a large portion of the Red Raiders' shots, Edwards relies on efficient shooting and is better saved for easier match-ups.
Don Carey, G, Georgetown ($6,000 DK)
Carey has been a great shooter for Georgetown, especially from deep at 43 percent, but it's hard to spend $6k on someone who is the least involved player on the offense. Even against an opponent in DePaul that likes to push the pace, they defend the three well at 29 percent and have averaged only 6.2 made threes per game against them. Carey also doesn't provide much in the other statistical categories – failing to record five or more rebounds or assists in Georgetown's last five games.
