The Feast Week festivities are upon us, as college hoops continues to show they know how to set the schedule the right way. The number of interesting and entertaining games that are played daily has never been higher, culminating in the unofficial/official end of the non-conference season. Have I mentioned I'm off to a 10-5 start here and off a 3-0 day on Monday? No? Well hey kids, not only is the schedule gold, but I'm off to a 10-5 start on the year after a 3-0 Monday! Let's see what kind of morsels are on the docket for Sunday.

West Georgia Wolves at Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
This in-state rivalry brings a little juice to the table as West Georgia takes on big brother in only its second year in D1. The Wolves have handled inferior competition, but struggled in road games at KenPom No. 40 Nebraska and No. 20 UCLA. However, at No. 94, Georgia Tech isn't at that level and will face a highly motivated little brother. The Jackets also have shown a tendency to play down to their opponents as evident by a four-point OT home win vs No. 334 MD Eastern Shore, a 10-point home win over No. 255 SE Louisiana and a two-point home win over No. 223 Georgia Southern. I see this line as being far too large.

West Virginia Mountaineers vs Xavier Musketeers
I've said a few time already this year that Xavier is a team I'll be watching to play against. Ricky Pitino is faced with a full-blown and challenging rebuild at Xavier, and the early returns show patience is required. The Musketeers are coming off their best showing of the year, a one-point loss to No. 37 Georgia on Friday in the first day of this tournament in Charleston, SC. Ross Dodge is also rebuilding in his first year at WVU, but his troops have taken kindly to his defensive-based approach. At this point in their first-year jobs, the Mountaineers are further ahead, and I think they win this one comfortably.

George Washington Revolutionaries vs McNeese State Cowboys
Chris Caputo is doing an exceptional job at GW. In his fourth year, his Revolutionaries have continued to improve and they come into this one sporting a 5-0 record with an impressive neutral-site win over No. 80 USF already on their resume. Today, they face No. 95 McNeese as tournament action tips off in the Cayman Islands. McNeese is still the cream of the Southland Conference crop, but they have taken a step back since the departure of Will Wade. In their only other top-100 contest, the Cowboys were handled by No. 60 Santa Clara, and I'm anticipating a similar result today.
