76ers dominate Pistons, 129-111
The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Detroit Pistons, 129-111, at Little Caesars Arena on Wednesday night.

The 76ers (16-7) have now won four straight games, though three of them have come against the two worst teams in the Eastern Confernece; twice against the Wizards and Wednesday against the Pistons. Philadelphia got off to a hot start, winning the first quarter 39-26 and went into halftime with a 14-point lead. They were able to extend that to 24 heading into the final frame, and while the Pistons were able to win the fourth quarter by six points, much of it was with the deep bench players in the game. Rebounding was the key difference maker in Wednesday's game, with the 76ers winning on the boards 53-35. Detroit have now tied a franchise record for the most consecutive losses in a season with 21 as they drop to 1-10 at home.

Four Philadelphia players finished with double-digit points, with reigning MVP Joel Embiid leading the way with 41 points (30 of which came in the first half), 11 rebounds, five assists and two steals. Tobias Harris chipped in 21 points on an efficient 7-for-10 shooting while adding seven rebounds. Kelly Oubre led the bench with 17 points to go along with three rebounds and two assists. Tyrese Maxey had an uncharacteristically poor outing and finished the game with just nine points on 2-for-13 shooting (while missing all six of his three-point attempts), but he did have nine assists and four rebounds.

The Pistons continued to get production out of Bojan Bogdanovic, who played his fifth game of the season Wednesday after missing the first 18 games with a calf injury. He led Detroit with 33 points on 11-for-19 shooting, including 5-for-9 from three. Cade Cunningham chipped in 21 points (though he shot 5-for-17 from the field), seven assists and six rebounds, while James Wiseman led the bench with 10 points and three rebounds, though he fouled out after 16 minutes of play.

The 76ers and Pistons face off against each other again on Friday in Philadelphia at the Wells Fargo Arena.
