Clippers Defeat Rockets, 106-100
The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the visiting Houston Rockets, 106-100, in Group Play of the NBA In-Season Tournament at Crypto.com Arena on Friday.

There were nine ties and 15 lead changes in this game, with neither team leading by more than 10 points. James Harden was the hero for Los Angeles, hitting a game-winning four-point play with 6.0 seconds remaining. The Clippers scored the final six points over the closing six seconds, finishing the game on a 12-1 run over the final 2:02. The Clippers shot 13-of-34 from three-point range and 21-of-30 from the free-throw line while the Rockets hit 10-of-31 from long range and 14-of-20 from the charity stripe. They also out-rebounded them, 59-53.

The Rockets (6-4) were led by Alperen Sengun, collecting 23 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Jalen Green amassed 20 points, four rebounds and five assists. Fred VanVleet finished with 19 points, eight rebounds and 10 assists, while Tari Eason led the bench with 12 points, six rebounds and two blocks.

The Clippers (4-7) were led by Kawhi Leonard, compiling 26 points, eight rebounds, two assists and five steals. Harden had 24 points, nine rebounds and seven assists. Paul George provided 23 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals. Ivica Zubac totaled 12 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two blocks.

On deck for Los Angeles is a road matchup with the San Antonio Spurs on Monday. As for Houston, they travel to face the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday for their next outing.
