Trail Blazers Throttle Jazz, 121-105
The Portland Trail Blazers defeated the visiting Utah Jazz, 121-105, at Moda Center on Wednesday.

A 32-21 first quarter set the tone for Portland in this blowout victory, winning in wire-to-wire fashion. They led by 19 points at the half and got their lead up to 32 points in this lopsided victory. They also maintained a double-digit lead for the final three quarters. The Trail Blazers shot 51 percent from the field and 44 percent from three-point range (17-of-39) while holding the Jazz to 47 percent from the field and 32 percent from long range (10-of-31). Portland recorded 31 assists to 13 turnovers, while Utah had 25 assists to 21 turnovers.

The Jazz (4-11) were led by Lauri Markkanen, amassing 24 points, eight rebounds and three steals. Keyonte George generated 16 points, three rebounds and seven assists. Kelly Olynyk collected 13 points, nine rebounds and five assists, while John Collins totaled 12 points and 11 rebounds.

The Trail Blazers (4-11) were led by Jerami Grant, finishing with 30 points, two rebounds and four assists on 10-of-13 from the field. Malcolm Brogdon tallied 20 points, four rebounds and eight assists. Jabari Walker led the bench with 19 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals. Shaedon Sharpe had 14 points, four rebounds and four assists.

On deck for Utah is a home matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday. As for Portland, they return to action on Sunday in a road matchup with the Milwaukee Bucks.
