Heat Tops Cavaliers, 129-96
The Miami Heat defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers, 129-96, at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Wednesday night.

The Heat (10-5) came out of the gate hot and never let up, building a 37-26 lead through one and expanding it to 14. Miami was even more dominant in the second half, outscoring the Cavaliers (8-7) by a 60-41 margin over the final two quarters. Erik Spoelstra's squad shot 52.3 percent, including 57.1 percent from three-point range.

Kyle Lowry paced the Heat with 28 points, complementing them with three assists and one rebound. Jaime Jaquez delivered 28 points, three assists and one rebound. Orlando Robinson, Josh Richardson and Caleb Martin generated matching 14-point efforts, with Robinson adding nine rebounds and Richardson dishing out five assists. Jimmy Butler, Haywood Highsmith and Thomas Bryant all compiled 10 points apiece, with Butler adding nine assists and Bryant pulling down seven rebounds.

Craig Porter paced the Cavaliers with 16 points, adding five assists, two rebounds, two blocks and one steal. Darius Garland registered 14 points, three assists, one rebound and one steal. Evan Mobley generated a 13-point, 10-rebound double-double that also included two assists. Caris LeVert and Georges Niang managed 12 and 11 points while dishing out three assists and three rebounds, respectively.

The Heat remains on the road and visits the New York Knicks on Friday night, while the Cavaliers remain home and hosts the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night.
