Kings Defeat Mavs in OT, 133-128
The Sacramento Kings defeated the visiting Dallas Mavericks in overtime, 133-128, at Golden 1 Center on Saturday.

There were 15 ties and 14 lead changes in this game, taking an overtime session to determine a winner. Neither team led by more than seven points in the second half, with Sacramento riding a 19-14 overtime to their win. They went on a 7-0 run in that extra frame to take control. The Kings shot 23-of-25 from the free-throw line, while the Mavericks shot just 14-of-19. In addition, Sacramento won the turnover battle, 15-7, while out-rebounding Dallas, 53-47. They also outscored the Mavs in the paint, 74-46, while outscoring them in second-chance points, 24-11.

The Mavericks (31-27) were led by Kyrie Irving, collecting 28 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. Luka Doncic finished with 27 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Josh Green generated 23 points and five rebounds, while Christian Wood led the bench with 15 points, three rebounds and two assists.

The Kings (32-24) were led by De'Aaron Fox, finishing with 36 points, four rebounds, five assists and two steals. Domantas Sabonis tallied 22 points, 14 rebounds and two assists on 10-of-12 shooting. Kevin Huerter had 15 points, eight rebounds, five assists and two steals. Terence Davis led the bench with 22 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals.

On deck for Dallas is a home matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday. As for Sacramento, they return to action on Tuesday in a road matchup with the Phoenix Suns.
