Knicks Finish Strong At Home
The New York Knicks defeated the visiting Utah Jazz, 126-120, at Madison Square Garden on Saturday evening.

The Knicks got out to a solid start with a, 33-28, lead after one quarter, and they stayed in control through the second to take a six-point lead into the break. The Jazz turned up their play in the third and grabbed a brief lead, before the Knicks reclaimed a three-point edge heading into the final frame. Both sides picked up the pace in the fourth, and the Jazz tied it up again at 109, with under five minutes left. However, the Knicks kept their focus down the stretch and dominated the final minutes to secure their third win in four games.

Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 38 points, three rebounds, five assists and a steal, in 39 minutes. Julius Randle followed up with 31 points, six rebounds and two assists, while RJ Barrett tallied 20 points, six rebounds and three assists. The Knicks shot 45.3 percent from the field, including 12-of-36 from long range.

Meanwhile, Lauri Markkanen led the Jazz with 29 points, five rebounds, three assists and three blocks, in 35 minutes. Jordan Clarkson followed up with 24 points, six rebounds and three assists, while Talen Horton-Tucker tallied 23 points, two rebounds, seven assists, a steal and a block. The Jazz shot 51.1 percent from the field, including 9-of-32 from deep.

The Jazz (28-30) will look to bounce back as they take on the Pacers in Indiana on Monday. The Knicks (31-27) play host to the Nets on Monday.
