Lakers Defeat Warriors, 109-103
The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the host Golden State Warriors, 109-103, at Chase Center on Saturday.

There were 14 ties and 11 lead changes in this game, with neither team leading by more than eight points. That was actually Golden State in the second quarter, with LA's largest lead being the final six-point margin. The Lakers went on a 12-2 run in the middle of the fourth quarter to match that game-high lead and take control of this game. Los Angeles shot 45 percent from the field and 32 percent from three-point range while holding Golden State to 42 percent from the field and 27 percent from long range. The Lakers also out-rebounded the Warriors, 60-51, while outscoring them in second-chance points, 16-9.

The Lakers (26-31) were led by Dennis Schroder, tallying 26 points, three rebounds and three assists. Rui Hachimura amassed 16 points and seven rebounds. D'Angelo Russell collected 15 points, five rebounds and six assists in his LA debut. Anthony Davis finished with 13 points, 16 rebounds and three blocks.

The Warriors (28-28) were led by Jordan Poole, providing 29 points, five rebounds, six assists and two blocks. Klay Thompson totaled 15 points, three rebounds and three assists on 5-of-21 from the field. Draymond Green generated 12 points, seven rebounds, 10 assists and two steals, while Kevon Looney led the team with 13 rebounds.

Both teams return to action on Monday, with LA staying on the road to play the Portland Trail Blazers and Golden State playing host to the Washington Wizards.
