Pistons Defeat Warriors, 122-119
The Detroit Pistons defeated the host Golden State Warriors, 122-119, at Chase Center on Wednesday.

While there were only five ties and six lead changes in this game, neither team led by more than 10 points. Klay Thompson actually tied the game with a fadeaway three with 2.3 seconds remaining, but Saddiq Bey countered with a game-winning three at the buzzer to grab the win for the Pistons. Detroit ended up shooting 44 percent from three-point range while holding Golden State to 38 percent shooting. The Pistons also tripled up the Warriors in steals, 9-3, while winning the turnover battle, 14-8.

The Pistons (11-30) were led by Bojan Bogdanovic, collecting 29 points, four rebounds, five assists and two steals. Jalen Duren amassed 18 points and 11 rebounds. Isaiah Stewart totaled 13 points and seven boards. Jaden Ivey had 12 points, six rebounds and five assists, while Killian Hayes led the team with 13 assists. Bey led the bench with 17 points, three rebounds and two steals.

The Warriors (20-19) were Klay Thompson, tallying 30 points, two rebounds and three assists. Jordan Poole provided 24 points, five rebounds and six assists. Kevon Looney compiled eight points, 15 rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks. Ty Jerome led the bench with 18 points and three assists, while Anthony Lamb accrued 17 points, two rebounds and two assists.

On deck for Detroit is a road matchup with the San Antonio Spurs on Friday. As for Golden State, they return to action on Saturday in a home matchup with the Orlando Magic.
