Nets Rout Spurs For 12th Straight Win
The Brooklyn Nets defeated the visiting San Antonio Spurs, 139-103, at Barclays Center on Monday evening.

The Nets jumped out to a great start with a, 37-25, lead after one quarter and kept the pressure on in the second to amass a 27-point lead by halftime. The Spurs came out better in the third but did not have an answer, as the Nets added another two points to their cushion, to make a it a 19-point game heading into the final quarter. The Nets showed no mercy in the fourth and charged to the finish for their 12th straight win. This marks the second straight loss for the Spurs.

Kyrie Irving led the Nets with 27 points, eight rebounds, a steal and a block, in 29 minutes. Kevin Durant followed up with 25 points, three rebounds, 11 assists, two steals and a block, while T.J. Warren added 18 points, two steals and two blocks. The Nets shot 62.4 percent from the field, including 11-of-21 from deep.

Meanwhile, Keldon Johnson led the Spurs with 22 points, four rebounds and a block, in 25 minutes. Devin Vassell followed up with 14 points, two rebounds and three assists, while Josh Richardson tallied 11 points, four rebounds and three assists. The Spurs shot 43.3 percent from the field, including 8-of-31 from long range.

The Spurs (12-25) will look to bounce back as they take on the Knicks in New York on Wednesday. The Nets (25-12) take on the Bulls in Chicago on Wednesday.
