Our fantasy basketball cheat sheet highlights Tyrese Maxey as the top play—he's consistently delivered elite NBA player stats and faces the league's worst defense without Embiid. Mid-range targets include Josh Hart, whose usage and rebound totals have exploded due to Anunoby's absence. Additionally, the continued sidelining of Wembanyama and Morant elevates Devin Vassell and Zach Edey into must-play territory, offering high-volume production crucial for your NBA DFS optimizer strategy.

Elite Players
Guards
Tyrese Maxey, 76ers
($9,900) vs. Wizards
Maxey is coming off a 44-point performance during Sunday's loss to Atlanta and has an extremely favorable matchup Tuesday against the 3-16 Wizards, who rank last in the league in defensive rating (122.5). The star point guard has posted fewer than 44.3 DK points in just one of the Sixers' 20 regular-season games thus far, and he has averaged 33.4 points, 7.0 assists, 5.0 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.0 blocks in 41.8 minutes per contest over his last five outings.
Josh Hart, Knicks
($7,700) at Celtics
With Landry Shamet (shoulder) and OG Anunoby (hamstring) sidelined, Hart has started four consecutive contests. The 30-year-old swingman has stuffed the stat sheet in all four of those outings, during which he has averaged 17.0 points, 11.8 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 2.8 steals in 36.8 minutes per game. He has also recorded shooting splits of 53.3/45.0/84.6 over that stretch.
Forwards/Centers
Jaylen Brown, Celtics
($9,300) vs. Knicks
Although Brown shot just 3-for-13 from the field in Sunday's win over Cleveland, he stuffed the stat sheet and secured his fourth career triple-double. The star forward has finished with at least 45.0 DK points in five consecutive contests, averaging 30.8 points, 8.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 2.2 steals per game during that span. He remains the Celtics' clear top offensive option and will look to continue producing across the board Tuesday.
Scottie Barnes, Raptors
($8,900) vs. Trail Blazers
Barnes has impressed so far in the 2025-26 campaign, and he hasn't finished with fewer than 35.8 DK points since Oct. 27. The star forward has logged a double-double in three of his last four outings with RJ Barrett (knee) sidelined, averaging 22.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks per game during that stretch. Barnes will look to remain productive against a Portland squad that sits in the bottom third of the league in defensive rating (116.3).
Zach Edey, Grizzlies
($7,200) at Spurs
While Edey isn't guaranteed to score in double figures on a nightly basis, the second-year center has been a dominant force on the glass. Over his last four completed games, the Purdue product has averaged 17.5 points, 16.5 rebounds, 3.5 blocks and 1.3 assists while shooting 71.4 percent from the field in 30.5 minutes per contest. Edey has tallied at least 37.3 DK points in each of those four outings.
Expected Chalk
Anthony Edwards, Timberwolves
($9,400) at Pelicans
Edwards will look to stay hot in a favorable matchup against a lackluster Pelicans defense. The superstar has provided at least 43.3 DK points in five straight games, averaging 37.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.4 steals per game while recording 56.1/49.0/75.6 shooting splits during that stretch.
Mid-Range Money
Devin Vassell, Spurs
($6,300) vs. Grizzlies
The 25-year-old forward has stepped up for the Spurs with Victor Wembanyama (calf) and Stephon Castle (hip) out, and he will have an opportunity to remain productive against a middling Grizzlies defense. Vassell has tallied 30.8 or more DK points in each of the Spurs' last seven games, averaging 19.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.4 steals in 33.3 minutes per contest over that span.
Naz Reid, Timberwolves
($5,800) at Pelicans
Reid has been a consistent producer off the bench for Minnesota and hasn't logged fewer than 21.5 DK points since Nov. 7. The big man has also scored in double figures in eight of his last nine outings, during which he has averaged 15.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.0 blocks in 26.4 minutes per contest.
Value Picks
Cam Spencer, Grizzlies
($4,900) at Spurs
With the Grizzlies remaining shorthanded in the backcourt, Spencer should have another prime opportunity to contribute off the bench. The second-year guard has enjoyed plenty of success of late, posting at least 21.0 DK points in seven straight games. He has scored double-digit points in five consecutive contests, during which he has averaged 14.4 points, 4.6 assists and 2.0 rebounds in 23.6 minutes per game. Over that five-game span, he has shot 59.1 percent from the field and 60.0 percent from three-point range.
Kris Murray, Trail Blazers
($4,000) at Raptors
Murray is on pace to average a career-high 24.6 minutes per game this season and continues to see significant run. The 25-year-old forward has scored in double figures just once over his last six appearances, though he has posted at least 19.3 DK points four times during that span. He got the starting nod his last time out in Sunday's loss to the Thunder and was productive with Donovan Clingan (illness) sidelined. Even if Clingan returns Tuesday, Murray should still see significant playing time.
Cam Whitmore, Wizards
($3,700) at 76ers
Whitmore has been relatively inconsistent this season, making him a riskier choice in daily fantasy formats. However, he's coming off a 17-point performance during Monday's win over Milwaukee and has scored in double figures in four of his last six outings. The 21-year-old should continue to see meaningful playing time with several key players sidelined in the second leg of the team's back-to-back set.
