FanDuel NBA: Saturday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Saturday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

The NBA had a full 12-game schedule on Friday, so it's a bit quieter with only four games on Saturday. The available roster for Saturday has a handful of the highest priced players in the game, then a lot of lower-priced players where value can be found. Let's take a look at things.

GUARDS

Stephen Curry, GS at DEN ($9,200): Curry has been metronome consistent, dropping between 42 and 54 fantasy points in eight straight games. He's scored 20 or more points in every game this season, and should continue to be his MVP-self on Saturday against the Nuggets.

Jrue Holiday, NO at CHI ($7,200): Holiday has an expected value in the mid-30s of fantasy points, and he is consistent with his level, though he does have upside to explode for 29 points, seven assists and four boards like he did against the Cavaliers a week ago. He'll have the added perk of facing his big brother Justin on Saturday.

Avery Bradley, DET vs SAC ($5,500): Bradley started the season very slowly, but in his last five games he has four with more than 30 fantasy points. He is coming off arguably his best game of the season, having scored 23 points with two boards, two assists and four combined blocks/steals on Friday against the Bucks.

FORWARDS

Anthony Davis, NO at CHI ($11,800): What more is there to say? If he finishes the game, he's amazing. So far, we're nine games into the season and he's started and finished seven of them. In those seven games, he has produced between 52.6 and 68.5 fantasy points in all of them. On the other hand, he had one game that he had to leave early and missed the follow-up. If he starts and finishes on Saturday against the Bulls, he should continue to put up the monster numbers that he's known for.

Paul Millsap, DEN vs GS ($7,200): Millsap is coming off his best game of the season, having dropped 27 points, nine boards, five assists and three combined blocks/steals against the Heat on Friday. He is on a five-game streak of at least 32.7 fantasy points scored as he seems to have settled into his new role with the Nuggets.

David Nwaba, CHI vs NO ($4,600): Nwaba has steadily earned a steadily larger role for the Bulls, and has moved into the starting line-up in the last two games. In those games, he has averaged 10 points with eight boards, three combined blocks steals and an assist per game. Good value, at a low price.

CENTERS

DeMarcus Cousins, NO at CHI ($12,000): Thus far on the season, Cousins has been like an Anthony Davis without the injury issues. He is averaging 61.5 fantasy points per game, and has scored between 60 and 80 fantasy points in six of his nine games so far.

Karl-Anthony Towns, MIN vs DAL ($9,800): Towns struggled with foul trouble against New Orleans, as Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins attacked him early and often. Prior to that game, though, he had averaged 26.5 points, 15.5 boards and 3.5 blocks in the two games before. He's a nightly 20/10 threat, but often settles in more as an upper-20s/mid-teens threat.

Robin Lopez, CHI vs NO ($6,100): Lopez has been rock steady all season, averaging 14.9 points with 6.1 boards and 2.6 assists per game with his high-energy defensive game. He has to face the difficult Pelicans frontline, which is a threat, but he is the lowest-priced center with legitimate starter expected value on Saturday.
