DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

Tuesday brings a quiet night in the NBA with only three games on the schedule. With so few players available for your DraftKings entry, you might be forced to consider some options that you normally wouldn't when there is a bigger slate of games. Here are some players across the price scale who can help you finish the evening a winner.

Guards

Kyle Lowry, TOR at HOU ($7,700):James Harden should be the best guard available for the evening, but his lofty price of $12,300 would take a significant hit to your budget. Lowry is a more cost friendly option who the Raptors will need to put up some big numbers if they are going to keep pace with the Rockets. Lowry has scored at least 33.3 DraftKings points in four of the last five games and he was ejected early in the one game where he didn't. Even at this price, Lowry has upside.

Spencer Dinwiddie, BKN vs. BOS ($4,800): The Nets will be thin at point guard Tuesday with D'Angelo Russell (knee) sidelined. Dinwiddie was dealing with his own hamstring injury, but he is expected to return and start in this game. In two starts this season, Dinwiddie averaged 13.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.5 three-pointers per game. Look for him to provide significant value based on his price point.

Dejounte Murray, SA at DAL ($4,600): Murray is coming off one of his best games of the season as he scored 31.5 DraftKings points Saturday against a bad Chicago Bulls team. The key was he played at least 25 minutes, which he had not done in any of the previous five games. Tuesday brings a matchup against an equally bad Mavericks team, so Murray could be in line for extra minutes as well. He has played at least 25 minutes in a game five times this season, averaging 32.1 DraftKings points in those contests.

Forwards

DeMar DeRozan, TOR at HOU ($8,000): DeRozan provides a player with a high floor as he has scored at least 33.3 DraftKings points in 10 of 12 games this season. As long as it's a close game, he is generally going to produce for you. He's averaging 24.7 points per game and the Raptors will need him to score in bunches Tuesday, so get him in your lineup.

Harrison Barnes, DAL vs. SA ($6,100): Barnes is currently on a hot streak as he has scored at least 40.3 DraftKings points in four of the last five games. He has the second highest usage rate (24.1%) on the Mavericks, so he's clearly going to be a main factor in this game if they are going to have any chance of hanging with the Spurs. While there is the potential this game gets out of hand, Barnes can still put up valuable numbers even if it does.

C.J. Miles, TOR at HOU ($3,400):Norman Powell (hip) left Sunday's game against the Boston Celtics early and missed practice Monday, making him questionable at best for this game. If he is unable to play, Miles should step into a more sign-cheap price.

Centers

Al Horford, BOS at BKN ($7,600): Horford is a strong play on most nights as he is averaging 35.9 DraftKings points per game. Tonight brings even greater potential against a Nets team that is allowing the second most DraftKings points per game (61.2) to opposing centers. Start him with confidence.

Clint Capela, HOU vs. TOR ($7,100): Capela is in a dream situation on the Rockets, a fast-paced, high scoring team that doesn't have great size. With so few quality options behind him, he is averaging a career-high 26 minutes per game. He has scored at least 38.0 DraftKings points in three straight games and should keep things rolling Tuesday.

Salah Mejri, DAL vs. SA ($3,300): There aren't great cheap options at center Tuesday, making Mejri someone you should consider. He could see increased playing time against a big Spurs front court and appears to have passed Nerlens Noel on the depth chart. Mejri has only played at least 20 minutes in a game twice this season, but scored at least 31.3 DraftKings points in both of those game. He could be an option in tournament play.
