Daily Games Cheat Sheet: Tuesday

Daily Games Cheat Sheet: Tuesday

This article is part of our Daily Games Cheat Sheet series.

TEAM ANALYSIS

Defenses to Avoid
Brooklyn Nets at Memphis Grizzlies: The Grizzlies rank second in the NBA in defensive rating over their last five games, returning to the dominant numbers we have been used to seeing from them in recent years. They'll take on a Brooklyn squad that has been struggling offensively this season, and doesn't match up particularly well with the Grizzlies.

Offenses to Use
Detroit Pistons at Charlotte Hornets: The Hornets are not a very good offensive team, but they get a matchup with a Pistons team that has seen it's early-season defensive woes resurface lately. The Hornets have many players at bargain prices and could make for nice additions to lineups on Tuesday.

First game of a back-to-back: Los Angeles Lakers, Detroit Pistons, Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings, Memphis Grizzlies
Second game of a back-to-back: Brooklyn Nets, Denver Nuggets

DraftKings.com DAILY PLAYER RECOMMENDATIONS
If you've never played on DraftKings before, we recommend reading our Daily Fantasy Basketball 101: How to Win on DraftKings strategy article. Want to play in a $50,000 daily NBA contest on DraftKings? Check it out here.

Point Guard
Ty Lawson, PG, DEN ($8,000): Even with his team struggling offensively, Lawson has remained a solid option for fantasy purposes and looks poised to continue that against the Lakers' porous defense. Lawson is averaging 41.6 DraftKings points in two games against Los Angeles this season.

Other suggestions: Patrick Beverley (at PHX), Mike Conley (vs. BKN)

Shooting Guard
James Harden, SG, HOU ($10,300): Without Dwight Howard, Harden has to do even more for the Rockets, which seems absurd given the amount of production he already provides. As an example, he dropped 72.25 DraftKings points against the Trail Blazers in his last time out and is averaging nearly 50 DraftKings points over his last five games.

Other suggestions: Gerald Henderson (vs. DET), Jodie Meeks (at CHA)

Small Forward
Josh Smith, SF, HOU ($6,400): Smith continues to be worth investing in with Dwight Howard out and will get the opportunity to take advantage of a nice matchup Tuesday. The Suns frequently play small lineups, and Smith should have the opportunity to be on the floor at either forward position, allowing him even more playing time to stuff the stat sheet like he normally does. Smith is averaging 35.7 DraftKings points over his last five games.

Other suggestions: Danilo Gallinari (at LAL), Tony Snell (vs. SAC)

Power Forward
Ed Davis, PF, LAL ($4,900 ): Davis has been hot lately, averaging 28.3 DraftKings points over his last five games. There's still the potential for extended minutes with Jordan Hill sidelined, and Davis should be in position to take advantage of a Denver team that gets abused on the interior.

Other suggestions: Zach Randolph (vs. BKN), Greg Monroe (at CHA)

Center
Al Jefferson, C, CHA ($7,700): Jefferson is back to putting up big numbers, averaging nearly 40 DraftKings points in his last five contests. The Pistons rank dead-last against opposing centers, so the numbers should continue to roll in for the big guy. He's one of the top elite options on Tuesday.

Other suggestions: Robert Sacre (vs. DEN)
