Daily Games Cheat Sheet: Tuesday

Daily Games Cheat Sheet: Tuesday

This article is part of our Daily Games Cheat Sheet series.

TEAM ANALYSIS

Defenses to Avoid
Golden State Warriors at Sacramento Kings: The King have an offensive rating of under 100 in their last five games, and the Warriors remain an elite defense on the season. While options like DeMarcus Cousins are always viable choices, the majority of the Kings roster is avoidable on Tuesday due to the looming matchup with Golden State.

Offenses to Use
Denver Nuggets at Philadelphia 76ers: The Nuggets are a bad defensive team, and the 76ers have plenty of options to help fill your lineup. Many of these guys won't carry your team, but if you need to cut salary, consider filling a slot with players like Jerami Grant, Luc Richard A Mbah Moute, or Nerlens Noel, as they get a plus matchup at home.

First game of a back-to-back: Denver Nuggets, Miami Heat, Detroit Pistons, Boston Celtics, Utah Jazz, Golden State Warriors
Second game of a back-to-back: Philadelphia 76ers

Point Guard
Ty Lawson, PG, DEN ($8,000): Lawson has been in a small slump lately, and his salary has dropped around $1,000 from the area it was sitting just weeks ago. Still, he's heavily involved in the Nuggets offense and gets a nice matchup against the 76ers. He's a good play Tuesday at the price you'll get him at.

Other suggestions: Darren Collison (vs. GS), Stephen Curry (at SAC)

Shooting Guard
Evan Turner, SG, BOS ($4,700): Turner has struggled his past two games against tough defenses, but he'll get a chance to prove he's still a fantasy-worthy player against the lowly Knicks. His price is ideal for the normally weak shooting guard slot, and normally, his production gives a fantastic return on investment. I'll be rolling with Turner at least one more game in the hope that he was simply the victim of playing good defenses.

Other suggestions: James Ennis (at DET), Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (vs. MIA)

Small Forward
Jerami Grant, SF, PHI ($3,000): Anytime I can get a viable option for the minimum at the small forward slot, that player usually makes it into my final lineup. All you need from a player that costs the minimum is 15 DraftKings points, and Grant has been able to provide that as of late. He's got a growing role on the 76ers, and a good matchup against the Nuggets.

Other suggestions: Carmelo Anthony (vs. BOS), Joe Ingles (at POR)

Power Forward
Nerlens Noel, PF, PHI ($5,200): The Nuggets usually allow opposing bigs to have nice games, and that's great news for Noel. He'll be a factor on the boards, but if he's allowed to get a few easy baskets, we could be looking at a big fantasy day for the 76ers forward. He's averaging nearly 29 DraftKings points per game over his last six.

Other suggestions: Robert Covington (vs. DEN), Lou Amundson (vs. BOS)

Center
Hassan Whiteside, C, MIA ($7,700): Everyone is waiting for the numbers to drop, but until they do, he's a nightly play. The Pistons let up huge games from the center position, so Whiteside could be in for one of his now signature massive rebounding nights.

Other suggestions: Jusuf Nurkic (at PHI), Tyler Zeller (at NY)
